Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyRight in the heart of the city, but hidden in the heart of a building complex you’ll find this riad which looks like an italian campiello. It is quiet and airy with corners and niches to relax and a very nice rooftop area. Food and breakfast was good and the staff very kind and supportive.

SwitzerlandIt‘s a stunning place with the kindest staff ever. I felt welcomed from the very first second. The rooms/decorations are magnificent and the food is super delicious. The souk is a short walk from the Riad. There is a car parking close by, super easy to park. Riad Tafilag is a special and unique hotel, with the loveliest staff members, which makes all together exploring Taroudant absolutely magical. Totally recommend staying there.

We stayed in Riad Tafilag for one night and the place felt like an Oasis. Communication with the staff was very easy and convenient. Although we arrived late, we could still have dinner - which was really tasty and they even explained us is detail which dishes were vegan - we were super happy! All the staff were super nice and kind. The room was very clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. The entire Riad is beautifully decorated and in a stunning and nicely renovated building. We can 100% recommend and would stay here again next time. Thank you!

The totally unexpected surprise at the end of a dark alleyway. Riad Tafilag was an oasis of peace, comfort and tranquillity amid the bustle of Taroudant. This Riad was an absolute delight. The communal areas, the bedroom, the plunge pool were all perfect. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. The manager and the receptionists were friendly and super efficient and helpful.

GermanyRiad Tafilag is located in a busy shopping street in the medina of Taroudant and is easy to reach by car, presumed you do not arrive at rush hour in the late afternoon. Then it can be a bit difficult to stop in front of the riad to unload the luggage and get to the car park, but with patience it worked out well. The hosts are very warm and speak excellent English for tips on sightseeing, shopping and eating. The riad has an overall well-maintained appearance with plenty of lounge areas to relax in. The rooms are on different levels and almost all have a private seating area on the veranda, which makes it pleasant to end the day there. Our room was quite small and narrow compared to other riads in the price level, but clean and cosy, the bed comfortable as well. The bathroom was also clean and functional - just right for a night in this interesting city. We didn't have dinner in Riad Tafilag, but went to the Kasbah Komplex about 10 Minutes walk away, where a a huge variety of good food is offered. The breakfast was very good - favourite was the homemade carrot-orange-marmelade.

United States of AmericaFor Dinner, I was hoping for some vegetables in my Tangine. Perhaps I needed to ask for them. Breakfast could have had more options unless I left the table before more food would have been brought out. I received, coffee, orange juice, 1 small pancake, 1 small crepe. There was a community table with jams, jellies and some laughing cow cheese. These 2 things are minor and should not change your mind about this wonderful Riad.
Staff was excellent. Truly cared about the quests. Room was very spacious and unique as was bathroom. Great balcony. Nice layout with many patios and a pool. Location in the heart of the markets.

What a great find! We had the most fantastic stay here, a cute little room on the top of the roof, with our own little terrace and wonderful views of the city. the room was lovely decorated, everything felt very feng shui. Great bathroom. al in perfect condition. The manager was super nice and chatty, and al the other employees where also very charming. We where sad we had to leave. They can arrange a private hamam in there other riad, which is not very expensive and very nice. Breakfast is great, and served in the beautyful restaurant area, there was a great swimming pool, but it was to cold outside to test it.

We loved absolutely everything! All the staff were so friendly, Naima, Brahima, Mustapha and everyone else. The Riad was a peaceful sanctuary within the bustling town of Taroudant. It is quite amazing but one cannot hear anything of the outside world, just the singing bulbuls in the tree that rises out of the central courtyard. Wonderful views from the roof terrace toward the Atlas mountains too! The food was superb and we particularly enjoyed the veggie tajine, and the amazing selection of jams and other preserves at breakfast. If you like fossils and gemstones, they also know all the best places. Lots of wonderful aloves with comfortable sofas to enjoy mint tea and a game of backgammon. We had one of the upper rooms with a very comfortable bed, a powerful shower and air con (very handy in this relatively hot town!). Oh, and if you enjoy a wee bit of birding, one can enjoy fantastic views of pallid and little swifts from the upper rooms, and house buntings and spotless starlings can be viewed on the surrounding medina roofs. Superb and very highly recommended!
