Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicWe really enjoyed our stay at Villa Harmonie. Youssef and hotel stuff was super kind and helpful. The Riad is perfectly located in the centre and at the same time in a quiet area. It is also stylish and cozy - not with many rooms so you have privacy as well. At the top of that, we had an amazing breakfast and beautiful rooftop where you can chill and soak up the atmosphere. Everything was also clean. I can highly recommend staying at this Riad. We had no issues at all.

United Kingdomeverything. superb hospitality by Youssef & the entire team. Never have I ever stayed anywhere where I felt so welcome and cared for from the moment I arrived to the second we left. Always offering their wonderfully fresh mint tea that is just so ideal in the heat of Morocco. One of the team was always there to support you & offer any assistance needed without any hassle. Amazing traditional Moroccan breakfast each morning, enough to fill anybody up (and they ask if you need any more!!) Assisted in printing boarding passes for way home without a fuss. Lovely rooftop for relaxation time & where the breakfast is served. Daily cleaned rooms & fresh towels.. just wow.

United KingdomOnly things to note were that as our room was on the ground floor so sounds from outside could be easily heard in. There was no spray facility for toilet as expected in a Muslim county. There were lots of wasps on the upstairs rooftop where we had breakfast but an overall wonderful stay in the Riad. The team were very attentive to our specific needs.
We had a pleasant stay at the Riad Harmonie. Youssef and the staff welcomed us warmly with mint tea and a lovely local cake. The room was cosy with heater provided, breakfast selection was good and could be personalised to taste and the Riad itself was beautiful.

United KingdomIt is deep within the Medina and within walking distance of the central Souk. It is surrounded by a very busy city and getting to the Riad takes some adjustment as it’s a 5 minute alleyway walk to the entrance. Once familiar with Moroccan culture. It’s easier to traverse the nuances of the old town but it’s not for everyone. The Mosque is very close and the morning prayers are quite early. Part of the ambience but not for light sleepers.
It was a classic example of a traditional Riad within the Medina (old town) walls. Really nicely presented with clean and elegant surroundings and an incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who went out of their way to enhance the stay.

I had an amazing stay at this riad. It was so serene, clean and beautiful. Amazing place to relax, but also to work on the rooftop behind my laptop. Heating was available, staff was doing an amazing job. And the manager sure makes the guests feel at home, also offering them tea on the house many times to make their stay enjoyable. He was so kind to the guests and also to his staff. All were very professional.

GermanyWhen I entered my room, I was immediately struck by a moldy smell, as there were damp patches and mold everywhere on the walls - especially in the bathroom. This made me reluctant to come "home". I always put my clothes away in my rucksack because I was worried that everything would get damp and start to stink. There were also a few moths in the room. Knowing that the riad is in a very old part of town and that the owners make every effort (!!), I found these conditions unacceptable. I would not book a stay there again with this condition of the room. Although the rest was great! The shower did not drain, so showering was extremely uncomfortable and disgusting. But I have communicated this and a solution is already being sought. The owners take feedback very positively and constructively!
First of all, I would like to emphasize the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I felt very well looked after. When I had to leave very early, the person in charge got up extra early to prepare a delicious breakfast for me. The location of the riad is fantastic. You can get to the medina very quickly (10 min walk). As a woman traveling alone, I was also glad that it was a fairly busy and safe alley. Cabs are also only a 1-2 minute walk away. The riad has a warm and pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The roof terrace is a dream! Everything is very clean.

LuxembourgThe taxi is not arriving to the Riad, as it is in a secluded street. However, the main street and the pick-up point for travels is at about 100m. There are many taxi at any time of the day. There is a minaret close to the Riad. This should be considered if one does not want to be waken up at 5 am. The bathroom is very small and not comfortable. In addition, the smell from canalization is quite unpleasant. Though it should be considered that this is the very old part of the city.
The location of the Riad is in the old town, but it is in a secluded little street isolated from hustle and noise, therefore nights are silent. The Riad itself is well maintained and clean, decorated in a traditional style, with the orange trees and flowers planted in the court. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were met and picked up from the airport. Our room was small but cozy. The breakfast is typical to local habits, but when asked the staff prepared some food according to our taste. Small local restaurants are also nearby.

ItalyMy flight was at 10:20 the next day and I paid 200 MAD to Yusuf for a transfer to Marrakech airport. I speak Arabic fluently and I also used a taxi application in Marrakech that would cost me only 40 or 50 MAD to reach the airport but I opted for the riad's transfer specifically so I can eat the lavish breakfast Yusuf described to me. He agreed that breakfast will be ready at 07:30 am and the driver will come at 08:00 am (the drive to the airport is 12 minutes). At 07:30 am not only was breakfast not ready, the entire riad was pitch dark, lifeless and I felt I was the only one there. The door to the riad was locked but thankfully at 07:47 am one of the cleaners came and rang the bell. I spoke to her from the other side of the entrance door but couldn't open it for her as I only had the key to my room. At 07:52 another worker I never met came downstairs and helped me to carry my suitcases to the main road (a 5 minute walk) so I made it in time to the airport but without breakfast or even a coffee or water. In future instead of promises it is best to honestly inform that breakfast is only available after 08:30 am. The shower cubicle was tiny but that is perhaps appealing to some (not for obese people because they would literally not fit in to the cubicle).
The riad is charming. it is located in a cul de sac so it is also very quiet. I arrived at 16:00. The friendly young cleaning lady gave me what I thought was traditional Moroccan tea. Turns out it was just sweet green tea (it lacked fresh mint or fresh sheeba which is a wonderfully bitter Moroccan herb. There was a single and tiny half leaf of mint that was not the freshest. They were clearly not ready because mint costs less than 10 cents and is sold on every street corner in Marrakech). However I was also served a moist orange cake that was delicious. I then waited around 20 minutes until Yusuf arrived. He made a good impression and gave me what looked like the smallest room in the riad (1st room on the right after the entrance door). This despite his confession that all but my and another room were occupied on that day. As my room was prepaid I think it would be better if he delegated authority to one of the cleaners. They could hand me the check in form and key and take my passport for registration..
