Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MoroccoI have stayed in Riu resort taghazout from the 04th to the 10th august 2025 and what can I say, the staff are super kind, the rooms are nice and clean with really comfortable beds, the view from our room was just phenomenal, nevertheless the food was repetitive and lacking in terms of quality, not fit for a 5 star resort. other than that, I really enjoyed my stay in Riu taghazout and would highly recommend it.

United KingdomHad a ground floor room which meant quite a number of cockroaches. Food was okay but would avoid the cold food as some of us in our group had upset stomachs upon leaving. Would definitely start booking restaurants straight away as they book out very quick.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Grounds were immaculate and very clean. Free flow drinks were well made, 24/7 as well. Adult pool was quiet and amazing. Gym was well equipped.

I liked the room so big and clean, good closet, limitless choice of food and drinks, bar available 24/24, the pools are many external and internal the quality of water is good , bar inside the pool.

MoroccoThe staff is tip oriented to a point ylthat they started believing that they are entitled to it.
The quality of the food has significantly decreased. No taste and lot of cost saving measures compared to the first 2 years. If it wasn't for the kids and the all inclusive food flexibility we wouldn't have considered it

PolandLong response time to reported issues. Poor management of the pool area. To get a cabana by the pool, you had to be there at around 6 a.m. There were always some sun beds available, but it was very crowded. No waiter service at the pool. All they need to do is introduce an additional paid service and the problems with the cabanas would be solved. Krystal Restaurant – the worst food among the à la carte restaurants, a waste of time. This is a family hotel, so be prepared for children shouting. It is definitely not a hotel for business trips.
The breakfast was very varied and delicious, with excellent Moroccan tea and very efficient service. Hotel staff very helpful. Great gym. Delicious food at the à la carte restaurant Babor.

United KingdomThe room had a lot of bugs come in, we didn’t open the door or have food in the room. Just a thought if you’re on the ground floor!
The staff were absolutely great - super friendly and helpful! The resort had loads of pools and sun loungers. The location was a short walk away from the Taghazout village, and had easy access to the beach. There was a lot of food to choose from at the buffet, including vegetarian for myself and nut- allergy friendly meals for my partner.

United KingdomThe only thing I can critique is that they don’t stop the reservation of beds, which means if you aren’t up early you are very limited in options. I think towel reservations of beds shouldn’t be allowed. There were some issues in families trying to bring children into the very clearly marked adults only pool, but that’s not the hotel’s fault!
Everything! It was beautiful, the all inclusive package was extensive and the cocktails were fantastic.

NigeriaThe long walk to the rooms 4100 and above the car trolley should be more available to convey guests at all times. The room toiletries should be abit more on a daily basis, more options on food in the restaurant. More children play area.

FranceThe all inclusive things (crowded buffet, average food, very average drinks, people leaving glasses all over the place) The crowd. There are no quality soap and shampoo in the rooms, it’s the poorest quality you can find in 2 stars hotels. Bring your own. Towels are not up to 5 stars hotel. People reserving their sun beds early in the morning. Hotel is not regulating it (it’s written on the pool rules but nobody cares) I took a sun bed that was “reserved” by a rude French guy and was verbally assaulted, while I was alone (a women) with my kids…
The hotel design, lobby and main bar decoration are stunning, beautiful gardens so well maintained and swimming pools, including an indoor swimming pool that saved our holiday as we didn’t have a warm weather and a slightly warm outdoor swimming pool. The indoor swimming pool is heated in a very warm room, it’s perfect for young children. There are also a few swimming pool reserved for adults. The staff always doing its best. The staff is really kind with children. All the above make the hotel a 5 stars hotel and it really looks like the photos. The location, walking distance to Taghazout.
