This is more like a good 3 star or a medium 4 star hotel. And during our stay a lot of noisy construction going on in the neighbor lot!

The breakfast was extremely poor quality and cold, considering the food was stored in bain-marie's. Executive or Sous Chefs standing around during a busy service and just watching god knows what? as they were not checking if the bain-maries were keeping the food hot (or even working) or being refilled?? The waiters were working in chaos, they were not organised tables were not cleared down in an efficient manner to allow for the next round of breakfast clientele. Executive team members are watching the chaos and not assisting, GM did not greet customers as while walking through the hotel. This is a shame as this is a lovely hotel and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

All the staff were helpful and friendly you should be proud to have an excellent team in your hotel, despite the GM's and a couple of the his executive team poor personal skills.

The Spa was by Moroccan standarts pretty expensive.

Very comfortable, nice Interior, friendly hotel staff and central location . We had an amazing stay at Grand Mogador menara &Spa and would definitely come back!

The hotel was really old, the breakfast was not fresh. It was so cold in the restaurant.

The staff, especially the guy who carries the bags. So honest in advising about the travelling. He carried all the heavy bags into the taxi, and gave really good advise about the taxi. Bless you!

The limitation of the foods

Ongoing early morning construction ruins your morning sleep . This is not a place to stay if you are wanting restful sleep in the mornings. However if you are out on tours all day this doesn't matter as you need to wakeup early anyway. The rooms were good and huge spaces. Sadly the balcony was facing the constru tion site, so I didn't feel comfortable sitting out on it.

The staff was amazing. Reception and restaurant staff were fantastic and very aytentive. Loved the food selection at the restaurant - excellent.! The 'staff' really make a difference in this hotel. The location is great close to 2 malls and walking distance to many amenities. This was a good hotel to stay in for us as a convenient location with good access to shopping and with the luxury feel..

The noise. Impossible to rest. There are 2 or 3 hotels getting build around and they never stop 24/7. Old windows from Grand Menara allow all the noise to come in

the bain-marie in which breakfast was served is not heated. It's not nice to eat cold sausages or scrambled eggs. No black tea. No napkins on the tables.closed and dirty toilets near the small swimming pool in the basement

Was doing construction work outside so very difficult to sleep. The aircon did not work properly which was very annoying. Not worth the money we paid considering the aircon didn’t work and my key card kept not working too. Not the best location. I was overall disappointed

Previous good impression spoilt by stupid and unecessary requirement to have a voucher from reception BEFORE you,re allowed into their excellent underground car park. Whilst I understand the need for it, tell clients clearly when they book, or include it on their confirmation. Or else, like me, you will be refused entry, even though I had shown my booking to security. I had to walk round to reception, obtain the voucher, go back,and then I was allowed in. Dont drive round, the hotel is off the main one way boulevard. a circuit of the one way will take 20 mins if its busy. 10 mins if you walk from the next street. This immensely annoying issue, completely avoidable, spoilt an otherwise surprising and pleasant stay. Excellent in every other respect.

I was pretty annoyed from the start. The staff upon check in were rude, and didn’t really say much. But the thing that annoyed me the most is that the room does not remotely look like the pictures on the website, you expect a beautiful big clean bright spacious room but you get a simple boring room, still spacious. The bathroom doesn’t have a shower, it has a bath which you have to climb in to use the shower. It also doesn’t have a shower curtain so the bathroom is soaked when you get out of the shower. None of the sockets worked in the room and they were all loose/unsafe. I had to plug out one of the lamps in the room in order to use the socket. I would have been fine with the room I got if they advertised it like that but they don’t so that’s why I’m disappointed. I could have said something there but didn’t because I felt already that the staff were problematic didn’t want to annoy them further. (Not all staff were bad, just interactions with the women checking me in). I don’t know how this is a 5 star hotel because there are many flaws with it. But still I would advise people to stay there for the good price and spacious room, just be aware of the flaws before you book

45 min wait for check in even though there were 4 receptions and only 4 of guests. Only one chair on balcony. Got the room facing horribly noisy street so couldn’t use it. My husband and I like to sit and talk in evenings, relax after running around all day. I booked rooms facing pool and garden. Breakfast was ok, definitely could be more variety.

Very underwhelming for a 5 star hotel.

We were happy about the indoor swimming pool because it got quite chilly outside without the sun. A shopping mall nearby and a delicious "dessert" restaurant just next door.

Need modernisation After main hall, the hotel doesn’t look good Hallways carpet needs changing or cleaning up. Relaxing chairs in the landing are not welcoming

The hotel was surrounded by construction work during our stay. I'm not sure if a room facing the hotel pool would have made a difference in noise cancelling from the busy boulevard. The hotel itself is a bit dated. Some fresh design would make a difference. Our room was facing the main street, so we couldn't leave the window open.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We travelled with a baby and it's been such a good experience with the hotel. Special baby food for breakfast would be a plus. Had breakfast by the pool, which was great (besides the construction work). Very clean.

Very noisy on the road side of hotel and Air conditioning wasn’t working. Slight problem when sleeping with the window open. Some areas lifts / hallways were in need of a clean.

Good location. Rooms were nice size and bed was comfortable. Great shower and nice breakfast
