Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsGreat ryad very close to center of Fes. Samir is very helpful, he is also an official tour guide so he showed us around in the morning and booked a hammam for us in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious as well and room was spacious.

Everything was perfect. Otmane welcomed us with beautiful hospitality, made us tea and insisted on upgrading our room to a suite without any additional charge. Also, we had to leave early in the morning so we couldn’t have breakfast, but Otmane prepared us a packed breakfast so that we wouldn’t leave without it. The rooms were perfect, clean, tidy and with all the comforts you might need and the bathroom also. Everything was perfect, if you have to stay in Fez, choose this riad!

CanadaJust needs to make sure some small upkeep things are dealt with, e.g. the towel dryer in our rooms were not working - but nothing that made our stay any less amazing.
The location was amazing, and so was the staff. I also have to say that I had the best sleep out of any place I stayed in my 6 week trip at this Riad. Will certainly come again.

United States of AmericaThe staff is super nice and welcoming, great location, very beautiful terrace and living room. Samir was super nice, I wasn’t expecting such a hospitality, he made fresh mint tea upon my arrival and also prepared breakfast to go for the next morning because I wasn’t able to stay long enough for the next day. The manager also spoke to me on the phone to welcome me and let me know about the breakfast to go being prepared. The room was very comfy as well and very aesthetic. Lovely experience and shout out to Samir and the entire stuff!

AustraliaWe had an evening meal at the Riad. The meal was quite expensive and very disappointing. The meal wasn’t prepared on-site but was warmed up. Dessert was a banana cut in half. Drinks (water and coffee) were charged extra. I would recommend that you eat at one of the local restaurants (there are some good ones inside the medina near the Blue Gate) which are less expensive and offer better food.
The location of the Riad was excellent, allowing quick and easy entry into the main medina. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast very good and sufficient. The staff, especially Kamal, were extremely helpful.

NetherlandsBeautiful riad, great location and friendly hosts! In particular Samir, who gave us a warm welcome at the Riad and provided a guided tour through Fez. Definetely recommend the tour because he showed us some of the well-hiden gems in the medina that would be hard to find on our own.

SloveniaWhere to start? Of course with beautiful people from this place. They cared to pick us from the airport in the middle of the night and served us fwo days with informatons and all we need. Omar and the girl in the kitchen (sorry, I don’t know the name) kindly worried about our food. Samir made us feel like staying at the friends house and teached us about Fes history and Morocco for beginners. Next thing is location on the outscirt of Medina. Few minutes walk from the peace of the room to crowded markets. Breakfast, room and bathroom are good, clean and ok. And they have a roof terrace. Value for money is unbeatable.

AustraliaThe Riad was beautiful, room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, location was great, just outside the craziness of the souks, but only a 2min walk to everything, service was amazing with Samir and staff being very accommodating, arranging transport, a room upgrade, washing, beautiful dinner and breakfast and local tours. The riad and room were clean with rooms cleaned daily. Samir was a great tour guide and i recommend taking one of his tours when you arrive. He was very helpful with anything you needed assistance with and very generous with his time and genuinely cares about everyones experience at the Riad and in Fes. The staff spoke several languages (arabic, french, Spanish and english) and were extremely welcoming and respectful of all guests. Omar was lovely, preparing the best tea in Fes, making sure guests were comfortable and happy. And the ladies who cleaned and made breakfast (i didnt get their names😔) but the breakfast was very generous. I would recommend staying here if travelling to Fes, this Riad has everything you need and more. So much so that i am booked to stay again on my return to Fes.

Very friendly and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The room as good with nice decoration, very typical of riad rooms. Bathroom was OK and functional. Position of the riad was excellent, very short walk from one of the main streets in Fes. It is actually only about 100 metres from an access road with good parking places, our taxi driver did not know this. Better arrival directions would be a great help.
