The loud music at the nearby public swimming pool. The sad state of the lower part of the gardens.

The building, its architecture, the landscape and the setting.. The fact that the hotel pool is emptied and refilled daily. The amability of the staff.

The hotel states that there is free parking. This is not true. It's a disaster with different parking attendees "claiming" to be the to go guy for payments etc. The hotel needs to remove the information that they offer free parking. That's simply not true. My advice is don't get dragged into discussions with parking attendees some can be intimidating. Stand your ground and simply pay upon departing.

The receptionist Abdelhadi and all the other staff are very friendly and helpfull. And that made stay more comfortable

A/C broken and the room never cooled down to any lower than 27 C. WiFi connection sporadic at best. The location - same street as the public indoor pool - means drivers are harassed by people wanting to park and wash your car, approximately every 10 feet. And a lot of areas of the hotel are run down. I bet it was beautiful in its prime. Now, the restaurant is overpriced and dim, getting to the pool requires walking down four sets of rickety stairs and then across a rubbly disused concrete path. There is a children’s pool but it is not chlorinated or cleaned. So ... it’s a cheap hotel with an expensive restaurant and a great pool that you have to work to get to. Very mixed kind of place.

Beautiful pool. Wonderful staff. Location perfect for being near Fès and Sfrou without being caught up in the medina craziness. The hotel has a superb view.

I have been in this hotel before a few times years ago and it was amazing clean well kept with the gardens impeccable. Now unfortunately due to lack of maintenance the hotel is very dilapidated and run down the gardens look like the film "Jumanji " Its is very sad that no investment to keep up the glory of this hotel has been made by the proprietors.

The staff is very helpful and the location is great.

room very small, no fridge, no air conditioning, breakfast very limited.

Very far from city, you can not go back late by night, you can not move alone. i will prefer to choose an hotel inside fez, because there is nothing in sidi hrazem by night.

Sidi Harazem is an eccentric, quiet place, mostly visited by Moroccan families. Not very practical for sightseeing Fes, but during daytime several transport options are available. I very much love the old beauty of this hotel.

That it was difficult to get back to after dark, as many cabs didn't go 'that way' in the evening. 30DH if you were able to find someone to take you, which is not tooo bad. Wifi only in communal area, not throughout hotel, but not a huge issue.

I liked that the place was quiet, removed from the hustle and bustle of Fez city... only 15 minutes by taxi. Fresh Air and warm, spring sourced mineral water every morning. Only a 5DH (shared) cab ride to Old Fez (Bab ftouh).
