Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceEmployees do not speak english and some of them are very unpolite. Breakfast is bad. Bad coffee, and Fornetti with bad taste. Everything is old in the room, the electric system need to be changed, right now is very dangerous. They close the door of the entrance at night, you have to wake up the guy every time you wan't to go out after midnight, i mean, come on, you are a tourist, you want to move as you want in the hotel.

RomaniaEverything is obsolete and run down (but, somehow, yet functioning), room gets very hot in the summer, noise insulation non-existent, especially in the rooms toward the boulevard. Only thing I can't get past is the sustainability issue where you have to waste 20 minutes of running water just to get it to warm down (lucky I take cold showers).
Decent value for money considering the location, lots of parking spaces, friendly staff, cleaner than you would expect, I've stayed at worse hotels which were far more expensive than this. At least it's not pretending to be something it's not.

LatviaAlthough it is informed during check in, to get hot water you need to run the water in the shower for 15-20 min, unless you are like me and take cold showers in the morning.
If you are interested in authentic soviet vibe, this is a bullseye. It doesnt look refurbished at all, but it is all clean. Room is fair size for one person, comfy bed, clean sheets and clean bathroom. The room doesn not have AC so in the summer (currently August) it gets pretty hot. There is a window with a bug protection and a fan which makes it alright. In short you get what you pay for in terms of standard, but everything is nice and clean.

MoldovaIt's a very old hotel and would need to be refurbished. There was no hot water during 2 days in the room. It is located close to the central bus station and close to restaurants and different sights. There is the Blue Irtodox Church just around the corner. The breakfast was very poor. Just a tea and some snacks. The stuff was very friendly.

SwedenBreakfast.... Skip it and go to a café instead.
A very sophisticated stalin design hotel. It has the wooden floors and the mighty stairs. Rooms are a bit like they stayed in Stalins era but this is a good opurtunity to reely get the Soviet feeling, how it was back in the times!

United KingdomTo get a hot shower you need to run the shower tap for 5-20 minutes.
It's very close to the heart of Chisinau Staff were very nice, easygoing, helpful, professional and friendly. The place is very affordable and is a decent place to stay as long as you're there as a solo travelle,r and don't mind the old Soviet decor.
