Location was close to the beach. Room was very nice. Restaurant was great, had breakfast outside by the water. Amazing!! Receptionists were so kind and friendly!

We thought we will get two sea view rooms but got only one.

The location, inside the Budva Old Town and just by the beach! The seating options for eating - just by the beach, or inside the hotel. The fabulous grilled shrimp and calamari, the best bruschetta we've had, and lovely breakfast on the beach!

All was great.

The staff was exceptional and very friendly. Location was amazing. Righ in the entrance of the Old City and right on the beach. Within walking distance was an exceptional beach to swim in. We had dinner in the restaurant on the beach and it was fantastic. Breakfast was included with the price of the hotel and you got to choose anything off the breakfast menu. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Our room had an AC unit outside which hummed most of the night. Breakfasts were plentiful but mostly arrived near cold.

Can’t beat the location it is awesome. Right at the Ild zTown on the beach. And the staff were lovely and helpful.

The fact that we had to leave!

First of all, the staff. At the reception desk, Slavica is an absolute sweetheart and an angel. Marija is a darling. Waiters at the beach restaurant are great. This indispensable personal touch Astoria has is very rare in the world today. Second, the location which just adds the flavor to the overall experience. We have been coming back to Astoria over the years and will continue to do so in the years to come.

No place to park, thus we had to use public parking lot. It took us 10 mins to walk before arriving hotel.

Strongly recommend to stay if you visit Budva. The hotel is located in the old town, with good restaurant and great view. The staff in the hotel is very gentle and kind. The room is neat and clean.

Lacked a kettle in the room. We do like our English cuppa tea. But the staff managed to get one for us

We stayed 5 nights in Budva at Hotel Astoria and didn't want to leave. Everything was wonderful. Staff so friendly - from reception to the seaside terrace, to the beach sun lounge assistant / waiter, to the breakfast staff. A very comfortable room, was quiet, and the air conditioning was welcome during the heat of summer. Breakfast options were nice, the rooftop restaurant providing great views, 50% discount on the sun lounge / umbrella on the beach with the option to be served food and drinks at your lounge. Location was amazing just inside the old town walls and backing onto the beach. Leaving after our stay was not easy, we were so relaxed and would definitely return.

This was not my first time in ASTORIA, so I was familiar with the offer in this hotel, and i love it. Great service, excellent staff, private beach, cozy room... all in all , I will come again.

A couple of very minor items I thought could be done better, I'm only giving this feedback in the hope that the property may see and can make a couple minor tweaks which will help them out. Our overall stay was superb so it's more constructive feedback vs complaints. - Breakfast | the breakfast option was basically just some variant of eggs, which I get for most people will be fine, but unfortunately I dislike eggs and so it meant there wasn't much else aside from toasts and spreads. Compared to some of the other hotels we've stayed at in Montenegro in particular, this was an area that didn't compare that well. Offering something like fresh fruit, sandwiches, pastries etc. would be a small improvement that i think would really help to ensure the overall offering is consistently high standard throughout. - Beachfront restaurant cocktails | These were a bit hit or miss, my partner had a couple of great cocktails that were juices + ice, but I got a pretty rubbish mojito with the mint leaves looking almost brown and there being no real effort made to it; basically just rum, ice, flat soda water and off mint. Again, being very pedantic here but the direct comparison next door did excellent cocktails across the board. So a simple enough fix 💁🏼‍♂️

Loved our stay at Astoria, the location in the heard of Budva Old Town is superb, and our room opened out onto the beach which was just unreal! We stayed in a Sea View Suite, would definitely recommend that accommodation option as the view was unbeatable and the room itself was excellent; comfy bed, great shower, ice cold AC, plenty space for large luggage etc. The staff were very accommodating in our stay, always helpful and friendly, including letting us into our room after I'd somehow managed to leave the key inside and lock us out 🤦🏼‍♂️ The rooftop restaurant is a must do as well, it opens at 7pm which is also close to sunset - in September anyway - and so we got the most amazing view over the old town and the whole rooftop to ourselves initially. It's not cheap, but the food was brilliant (go for the waygu ravioli with pistachios), the wine a great pairing and the service was prompt and helpful. Our room also had soundproofing which was a cool surprise given it's immediate proximity to the beach. It meant you could open the windows and hear the waves crashing onto the beach, as well as the buzz of the beach below, but then at night there was peace and quiet. Brilliant stay overall, would definitely stay if we visit Budva again in future :)

My complaint is with Booking.com not the hotel. I needed to cancel the last night of my original reservation and the 2 nights I had previously booked were rebooked by Booking.com at a higher price. I didn’t book an extra night, but cancelled a previously booked night. I was not happy. In the future i will book directly with the hotel on their site.

Well located at the entrance to the Old Town. The room was fine but looked onto an air shaft. Breakfast was very good. The staff was nice, helpful and accommodating. The beach right in back of the hotel is nice, but bring your beach shoes as it is a rocky beach. Overall a good experience!

The room was lovely, but small compared to the price we paid. it was a pretty room but very dark with poor lighting.
