We didn’t know in advance that cash is the preferred payment method so had to pay a 3% fee charged by the property to pay by card.

Everything was lovely about this stay. The owners are friendly and the scenery is beautiful. It was an easy walk into Virpazar with the option of taking the bikes. We enjoyed breakfast delivered to our terrace and the wine tasting in the evening.

Our only downsize was that the bed was quick squeaky and being light sleepers we both woke each other up turning over. But that is a very picky point

Love villa, we had one of the lower villas which directly looked over the pool. Fab pool and the rooms had plenty of space and amenities. Hosts were fab and we had a free wine tasting in the first night. 10-15 min walk into town down a fairly flat path. You can hire bikes from the hosts but we chose to have a leisurely walk. Great spot for exploring Lake Skadar

Great owners, location, and beautiful villa. One of the favourite places we stayed in Montenegro. Short walk to the town or they have bikes you can use for free and a lovely wine tasting in the evening

This was a little paradise near Lake Skadar. The property was beautifully laid out, with two different pools (one per every four villas), surrounded by vines, a patio for meals with a beautiful view. The winery was small and family-owned; they do a free wine tasting every evening. The owners were hospitable, friendly, and attentive. Loved the bikes that were made available so you could bike down to the lake (a flat, easy 10-min ride at most).

Small, relaxed. Lovely pool terracce. A good stepping stone from the airport when starting or ending a visit to Montenegro. And ideal base for exploring the Lake area. Meals can be provided on request - we had dinner and breakfast which were simple and lovely. Otherwise cook for yourself in the lovely new handmade wooden kitchen. Or walk 15 mins into Virpazar where there is lots to do - but is gets really very busy! I used one of the free pedal bikes, which are "useable" for a ride to Virpazar, but they all needed refurbishment at the time of visit

Only one small thing, maybe put some screening/bamboo on the edge of the pool so you’re not looking out on to the property/road below? Otherwise it was great!!

What a lovely place! Lovely room, great staff, amazing pool and fantastic you could use the bikes to get to and from town.

Lovely spacious villa with premium patio furniture next to super large pool

This was by far the most expensive property we stayed at. It’s immaculate and very professionally run but lacked some of the personal warmth of the other properties. There needs to be more clarity on policies/description. It is not clear from booking.com that the beautiful clear larger pool on the photos is only for the 4 lower villas and smaller upper pool for the 3 top villas. Also the booking.com policy says no children and there were children there. Inadequate explanations were given for this. In our view the lower villas (new last year) although identical inside, have far superior patio space and gorgeous cushioned outdoor furniture with much more privacy than the upper villas with wood picnic tables to the side. I think they should be priced differently eg. ‘Deluxe and super deluxe’ to show this and define the pool area you can use. The property is on a hillside with several other properties close by and the area below the property is quite ugly and would benefit from plants to screen it.

Gorgeous spacious villas that are immaculate. Cool inside with fantastic big bed and linens. Very comfortable and peaceful. Excellent bathroom and useful kitchenette plus efficient air conditioning. We were in a villa on the lower terrace with access across our lovely spacious patio direct to the super larger pool. We enjoyed eating and drinking at the patio table and watching the sunset - while dipping in and out the pool. The owners were helpful and responsive to messages and quick to solve an issue we had. The bikes great for a local trip to town. The wine tasting was special. Lovely place for a few days and only 30 minutes to the airport.

The owners were very kind and welcoming and the property was stunning. We stayed in Villa 1 on the upper terrace and the views over the grounds and sunsets were amazing. On-site free wine tasting, access to free bicycles to get into town, a clean and nice temperature pool, and a perfectly sized villa - would recommend for your stay in the Lake Shkodar region!

There are a few small amenities missing in the houses such as a garbage can in the kitchen. But overall the houses are very modern and comfortable.

Each house has their own place to sit outside and everything is very clean. The host provides a free tasting of their own wines. Even though it's a short ride/walk into town, you feel like you are in the middle of nature.

It was all lovely - no issues at all.

The property itself was very pretty, nicely furnished and immaculately clean. Also lots of easy, safe parking by the grapevines. We loved sitting out on our terrace which had a gorgeous view of tree covered hills, a lovely dining area where we had our meals, and also using the pool which was a great temperature. We really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting which was generous and wonderful, experiencing the passion and history which the family have, in so many generations producing wine on this land. We had 2 lovely meals at Eco Merak and can fully recommend the carp which was fresh and delicious and obviously the gorgeous family wines! The village of Virpazar is an easy 20 min walk and you can hear frogs crooning away as you follow the river. We had a fantastic 3 hour trip to Kom Monastery with Falcon Boats and they were brilliant. We also did a 2 hour eco trip with MonteFrog Boats and they were great - the skipper spoke good English and took us down different waterways- we saw lots of Dalmatian Pelicans, Pygmy cormorants, Squacco herons and Whiskered Terns which were new for us.
