Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryUnfortunately the heating was very hot in the apartment, I asked the staff to fix the problem, and after that most of the area got better, but in the bedroom to the left remained still too hot to sleep well. Breakfast needs improvement, especially butter! And coffee might also need a change.
Rooms were far more beautiful than on the pictures. We had a spacious apartment with a special view to the city and the impressive mountians. The staff was extremely helpful. Nearly everything was within walking distance.

SerbiaNo free/cheap parking (closest 15 minutes away, I do not mind, but someone might). I wish, as always, for more hangers in bathroom, for towels.
Great location, courteous staff, clean and comfy, nice style (retro with old books and inventory in hallway), satisfying breakfast. When you leave the hotel, across is a large mall, behind you old city.

United KingdomEveything has been great.
The location is perfect. Its a short walk to the old town at the north gate of the fortress. Close to mall, atm banks, resto and shops. Parking at the property is covenient as there is no need to look around for parking space. Delightful breakfast that is served hot with juice and coffee. Staff are welcoming and engaging. Room cleaned and tidied up everyday which makes it more relaxing when coming back after a long day of wandering around the city.

TurkeyThere is nothing I can think of.
The place in general is genuinely nice and cozy. The breakfast was great. The staff is exceptionally helpful, and we felt at home while staying at the hotel. The place is only 2 minutes away from the old city center if you are taking a walk. We parked our car near a place owned by the hotel. Don't forget to reserve a place for you if you are going to use their place for parking.

United KingdomThere is nothing we did not like about the hotel. The only comment relating to the town and not the hotel specifically is that parking is at a real premium. If you are hiring a car and travelling to the town parking can be a bit of a lottery.
Great location, situated a short walk from the old town; very convenient 24 hour convenience store less than 100 metres from the hotel and large shopping centre opposite. Room was spacious and comfortable with good aircon and large balcony. Staff supper helpful. Breakfast well presented, plentiful and tasty!

United States of AmericaAt first I didn’t know how to operate the AC and heat. It would help if instructions were provided for that and the bathroom water heater for people unfamiliar with facilities in Montenegro. My suggestion to guests is to make sure right when you move in that you know how to operate everything.
The wonderful, comfortable bed. The fabulous view, especially from the big bedroom and living room, windows, the courtesy and attentiveness of Milos and the staff. The great breakfast situation where we met really nice people. Referral to a really cool manicurist right next door who took care of me right away, and to a pharmacist across the street. I loved that Hotel Tianis it’s right across the street from a great grocery store, cosmetics shop, and a really good pharmacist and so near to old town Kotor, and beautiful climbs imaginable. It would be very hard to match the value, the comfort of the facilities, the conveniences, and the beauty of the location, and the outstanding kindness of Milos and his staff.

Breakfast served nyt joyfull staff was very tasty and gave fine start for the day. Can not imagine better location; 200 meters to North gate and to sea shore and taxi can drop you at the door. United KingdomThe lack of a lift is a bother, especially for older visitors, as all the rooms are locate on 2nd & 3rd floors. It is a pity that during my stay the restaurant was closed. Only the view of the river and the old Kotor's walls would make for a great experience.
The staff are professial, accommodating of visitors' needs and understanding. Importantly, they do not charge for going an extra mile.

IsraelTHE HOTEL LOOKS OLD, YET IT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION (THERE WAS NO NOISE! AND THE WORKERS WERE FRIENDLY AND NICE. )
THE ROOM IS LARGE AND HAS A KITCHEN AND A BALKONY. ALL THE NECESSARY ACCESSORIES ARE AVAILABLE. THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING AND FRIENDLY. THE NEW MANAGER (MR. MARIOUGE - SORRY FOR NOT SPELLING HIS NAME CORRECTLY) WAS EXTERIMELY HELPFULL. BREAKFAST IS SERVED (NOT A BUFFET) WHICH IS QUITE NICE. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS SUPERB! A MINUTE AWAY FROM THE OLD TOWN, THE BEACH, A MALL AND SUPERMARKETS.
