WiFi could be better. Much better. In the first 5 days free WiFi did not work at all. By far the worst I've experienced in any hotel. And if you want to buy WiFi its a little bit expensive. There are no sockets near the bedside. The food is good, but not as good as 8 years ago when I was at Tara Hotel. I think they have changed the chef. Because some of the food is cooked in the restaurant, just in front of you, it's a bit warm and a lot of moisture. I missed the table on the balcony - there were only two chairs.

The location of the hotel is good; close to the beach. From the beach-oriented rooms, the sea is seen, but partly. In the lobby of the hotel, next to the restaurant, there is a Table Tennis table. It could be two. Parking is appropriate. The hotel is clean, the towels change every day. Bed linen is changed every 2 days. The breakfast was very good. Freshly made omelette by the chef. Nice. Food is enough. It is a shame that tourists do not know how much to put on their plates, which is why a lot of food is scattered. The lunch is much better than dinner.

The beach is pack guests putting their towels in the sunbeds to get a place . it was impossible to get a place all seat ocuppieed while people having breakfast. The hotel has not even a name outside the main building. I THINK TIS HOTEL WAS A SERVICE APARTMENT BEFORE , STAFF RUDE . LOOKS LIKE A MOTEL . 4 STARS RUBBISH NOT EVEN 2 . DISGUSTING. The complimentary Wi-Fi was by far the worst I've experienced in any hotel. I had to use my own data as there was no point using their internet. I would have paid for their premium Wi-Fi if I had known. But I wasn't notified until the last day. The aircon was pretty noisy too. It would have been good to have an iron in the room as well. Seemed like every little thing you expect as standard from a 4 star hotel was am additional charge.

The location was great, staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast offered a great range of options.

would like to have a little bit more space at the room! and the second bedside table and watermelon and melon on the lunch too

Good location, near to the beach with cristal water (not too crowded, you can always find spare sunbeds, but maybe it is becasue of June). Nice food, variety of fruits, even ice-cream each evening. Quite big supermarket is nearby as well as a bus stop. You can go by foot to Budva (approximately 30 minutes walk to the Old Town) through tunnel and along the seafront or by bus for 1 euro.

Not a 4 star quality hotel. Magnolia Annex room was small, no sound proofing. Bathroom had mould on the ceiling, also shower overflow in the sink. Breakfast was pathetic and the bar closed at 11pm. Location is surrounded by too many hotels. Very noisy and more for retired people. Expensive rates for not much in return.

We feel the counter staffs could be more friendly. They hardly smile. The wifi connection in the room was very slow. But we didn't have to pay for the wifi.

We paid for the half board. They changed the food for the 3 buffet dinners that we had there. There was a good variety of food. We get to try different local Montenegrin food and the dinner comes with free flow white wine an red wine! One of the light in one of the toilet was blinking the night we checked in but they fix it spontaneously without us telling them.

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. It is a joke. Staff is slightly grumpy, AC is super noisy, fridge too. Cleaning is not done properly, shower was still dirty on arrival and they did not pick up the laundry. Sealing had to be fixed on arrival, the whole place falls apart. Music at the pool is repetitive – same playlist every day. Beach is super crowded and noisy – no relaxation at all. The so called restaurant is noisy and truly feels like a brightly lit emergency room as someone already pointed out. Food itself is boring, every day the same. Also no labeling on the food in case you need that. Best part: when we wanted to write something into the complaints book they just took it away from us. Luckily we only had to spend 6 days here. Do yourself a favor and book an AirnBnb in the old town of Kotor. Or stay at home. :)

The wifi does not work. Free wifi was included in our price and when we got there, it did not work and we were told the public wifi does not work well in the hotel because of the amount of people staying there and that we could pay a ridiculous amount for the private wifi. A rip off to get you to spend on something you are already entitled to. The sunbeds on the beach are packed closely together, there is barely space to move around and get to the water and back to the sunbed. The staff were all rude and non chalant when it came to our complaints, we had to ask for help carrying two large suitcases to our room and the man who did help did not say a word to us.

The food was decent but the tables fill up fast in the restaurant and many of them are 'reserved' for some reason so you end up waiting with food in hand for a while

Nothing really springs to mind but I guess the beach is not the greatest as it is a mix of pebbles, shale and grit sand. However, this is not a reflection on the hotel, as like all the other hotels here, they keep their private strips of beach tidy and relatively clean.

The ground floor room within the Magnolia Villas complex was an inspired choice as we had a balcony with a couple of chairs. It overlooked a very well-kept garden filled with palm trees, olive trees and flowering shrubs. (First floor villas and not all rooms in the hotel have a proper balcony). Everywhere was spotless both in our room and throughout the hotel - not surprising when you saw cleaners busying themselves at different times of the day throughout the complex. The grounds were well-kept with plenty of space around the pool area. There were no problems getting a sun lounger although I suspect that this might be different once June starts and the Russian / Saga hordes descend in earnest! The breakfast menu offers a wide range of continental-style pastries, fruits and yogurts, pancakes, a passable attempt at a full English (fried eggs, bacon, local sausages, fried bread and ketchup etc) and omelettes that were made fresh for you once you'd chosen your ingredients. The staff in all areas (reception, restaurant and pool area) were very helpful, attentive and had a pleasant manner with nothing being too much trouble for them. A really nice touch was the presence of a heart-shaped chocolate cake in our room on arrival in recognition of us celebrating a special wedding anniversary. Contrary to other recent reviews the wi-fi was free and worked perfectly in all parts of the hotel / our room / pool area and there were also no roadworks. In fact, despite the villas being near the main through road, it was all very quiet. The recent refurb / lick of paint has transformed what must have been a 70's concrete block-style building into a modern, cosmopolitan hotel with all the facilities needed for an enjoyable stay.

Dreadful restaurant - lots of empty serving platters, cold food, lack of choice, brightly lit. Bar facilities included a barman who couldn't mix cocktails! A definite downturn since my visit 3 years ago.

The wifi connection is horrible, we stayed disconnected the whole time of our stay. There were no electricity plugs beside my bed to charge my phone at night. And there was a bed smell coming out of the AC. The staff isn't very friendly but so are all montenegrin.

the hotel has a direct access to a beautiful beach. Ironing service was good.

When we made the reservation online it was not made very clear that the reservation was for the annex as there were no photos of the annex but only the main hotel. Only after the reservation was made was it clear. Some of the staff is friendly and eager to help, however, many are a bit surly and not eager to be of assistance.

We enjoyed the sea coast, beach and overall surroundings.

very inconvenient to find a reasonable wifi signal with it being impossible in our bedroom. No tea making facilities in the room. The help yourself restaurant is rather a stampede, has no view and is somewhat enclosed.

Excellent quality (and quantity) of food for breakfast and evening meal. Evening meal was 10Euro per head including wine. Beach brollies and loungers are yours for the day.

The room was excellent (we were upgraded) the food was tasty, the service in the hotel and at the beach and pool bars was excellent as well, the boys at the beach were always happy to help us find an available parasol and deck chairs ...proximity to Budva, especially by the Mediterranean Express bus ...

Good and unexpectedly quiet hotel in the nice place.

Paid WI-Fi in the room. Room cleaning begins very early (7:30). The rooms on villa do not have double beds - they just put two single beds together.

Good and unexpectedly quiet hotel in the nice place. The bus stop is about 200 meters away. Double room - Annex is actually a room in "Villa Magnolia", which is also owned by the hotel. Villa is a two-storey, but very long building, located across the road from the hotel. Entrances to the rooms on the first floor are from the inner courtyard. The rooms are clean (both room and bathroom were cleaned daily), towels (3 for a person), which also changed daily, smelled of chlorine - a sign of reliable disinfection. Room on the ground floor was spacious, with a large balcony (rooms on the second floor are without balcony). Though there was a boiler in a shower, the water was heated rather quickly. Despite the proximity to the highway, the villa is successfully separated from the road. The windows overlook the opposite side of the road, so the room was quiet enough. Air conditioning worked fine. Tasty and inexpensive breakfast and lunch (buffet). A big plus - hotel has its own beach (use of umbrellas and deck chairs is included in the room rate). You can order a transfer to the airport, at the reception they will simply call for a taxi - price will be as in all local taxi drivers.

Nice location close to the sea in a quiet place.

WiFi is appalling. In the room normally it does not work, so you are to go to the lobby. The hotel has 4 stars, but overall level is closer to 3 stars hotel. Probably, it's typical for Montenegro. Hotels are trying to get as many stars as possible.

Nice location close to the sea in a quiet place. The dinner is very good. It's recommended to take half board since extra fee for dinner pays off very well.
