Only a customer who has booked through Booking.com and stayed at the property in question can write a review. This allows us to verify that our reviews come from real guests like you. Who better to tell others about the free breakfast, friendly staff, or their comfortable room than someone who’s stayed at the property?
We want you to share your story, with both the good and the not-so-good. All we ask is that you follow a few simple guidelines.
We believe review contributions and property responses will highlight a wide range of opinions and experiences, which is critical in helping guests make informed decisions about where to stay.
Contributions to Booking.com are a reflection of the dedication of our guests and properties, so we treat them with the utmost respect.
Whether negative or positive, we'll post every comment in full, as quickly as possible, after it's moderated to comply with Booking.com guidelines. We'll also provide transparency over the status of submitted content.
After a review has been submitted, you can modify it by contacting Booking.com customer service.
We'll use the same guidelines and standards for all user-generated content, and for the property responses to that content.
We'll allow the contributions to speak for themselves, and we won’t be the judge of reality. Booking.com’s role is to be a feedback distributor for both guests and properties.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. I would not call this place clean, at least room #1 was not. Hairs on the "clean" towels, I left the hairs on the shower pan for the cleaner to see. No trash can at all. Toilet paper holder shield is spotted and dirty on both sides. Seems the duty of the guest is to clean the room before leaving according to the "House rules" - I did not do so! Shower curtain is too short to keep much water inside the shower stall. Showerhead holder had minimal adjustment range. Flow and pressure were both minimal. Kitchen sink did not drain. Not good smells from the bathroom.
If you are looking for an isolated location, this is it. The host was very welcoming and handy. The address is incorrect stating a Tivat address, it is not, it is in Bigova. The pool looked good, but I did not fancy the colored lights.

For 2 consecutive nights the owners' dogs ran in the hallway of the apartments around 3 o'clock at night and started barking.
Very friendly welcome by daughter Nina. The next days would proof that her dad and her brother possess the same friendliness ! Every evening I was invited for a small drink, be it a beer, wine, rakija, softdrink, ... . very much appreciated. I had a large room with the most beautiful view on the small bay of Bigova. The apartments are only 200m from the village centre, in a very quiet surrounding. The pool is very nice, very clean, and well maintained. The TV didn't work at first, but was quickly fixed by Jovo. The family is very helpful and makes time for their guests so you can feel relaxed.

We got there about half an hour before the time we chose when we made the reservation but our hosts were ready for us and quickly showed us to the apartment and brought us something to drink. It was a great apartment that had a little kitchen with stove and fridge and an outdoor pool/lounge area. It was also walking distance to a nice restaurant we went to for lunch as well as a store to get a few snacks and drinks. We want to say thank you to our hosts for being so kind.

Jovo and his family are excellent hosts - outstanding people. Location is great, pool is great, if you want to hangout, just hangout. If you want to discover Kotor bay or go south, only a 30 min drive everywhere. The small village has a small supermarket and an excellent restaurant. The small beach in the bay is very charming and was not crowded at all. Simple and very nice. For us it was the perfect place to relax. Thanks again to Jovo & Family.

It's important to know that you cannot use credit cards anywhere in Bigova so if you want to eat at either of the two local restaurants, be sure to have plenty of cash on hand.
The off-the-beaten path location was perfect for us. It was so nice to get away to this little oasis away from the crowds, and picking fresh figs off the tree in the morning for an after-breakfast treat was a special bonus.

Bathroom small in the studio apartment. Room was a bit dated, but than can be seen in the price.
Nice pool, good location, walking distance to Bigova village (only two restaurants and a small convience store + small beach). Beautiful scenery from the balcony. Rooms were neat and clean. Owners very friendly and helpful.

We didn't like the bathroom: have never seen a shower where all the water goes directly to the floor. This produces continious wettness and a bad smell. The beach in this village is almons unexisting, almost nothing to do at the villa - there is nothing, but an old table football to play. They could have probably arranged table-tennis at least. There is absolutely nothing to do unless you come with your partner and enjoy each other. But you don't need to go that far from home for that. The sheets haven't matched the matress, we were always on a bare matress with hair of previous visitors. This was also not fun. The village is unreachable, unless you drive or take taxi. It is highly unconvenient. And the last, but not the least thing - this village is a harbour. The sea here is ... striped - warm and really cold at the same time. It was a very strange feeling while swimming. And the sea smells horrible. It stinks. It s not easy to make oneself to stay in it even while away from the shore, where it is much better. We were happy that we stayed just one day. We wouldn't recommend anyone.
We liked, that the swimming-pool was chsnging colour at night. This was beautiful. The hosts were nice, the village where Villa is situated , is authentic, the tiny shop where you can buy food , works long

We reserved this place hoping for a secluded, hidden gem on the coast. It turned out it is secluded but nothing special. The village beach is 10 min walk from the property but it's far from being beautiful or quiet. It was more like a 10m thin strip of sand/concrete jam packed with russian tourists sunbathing and swimming one on top of each other. Unfortunately there is nothing really worth a visit on a walking distance from the property, the location is not spectacular as we had hoped for. The villa is ok but the furnishing and toilet is a bit old. Also the common swimming pool is kinda small for all the many guests, there are not enough sun-beds for instance. To sum up, we felt the place was ok but definitely not worth the money.
The family running the Villa is very welcoming and kind. They offered us drinks and helped with our flat tire. The room was clean and carefully furnished/equipped. The view from our balcony was amazing.

Suberb location for a quiet holiday! Great pool area with fantastic views of the bay. One of the most relaxing places i,ve ever been. It,s a small villa, basic, but nice accomodation, in a small fishing village. A car is really necessary, but u do have a small mini market and 2 good restaurants in the village if u dont wanna drive! The owners are great, Jovo and his wife were very helpful, as were their kids. Very good family atmosphere! Jovo organised a fantastic boat trip for us, 7 hours, around the whole of the Bay of Kotor, 10 euros for adults, free for kids under 12!! Amazing value! Montenegro is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been..and i,ve worked for over 20 years in the travel business, and been to many places!
