Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThey had just changed the way to get into the property, so it was a little stressfull initially. The nice thing is that the host was very quick to respond to us. I would just suggest she let the next person know how to get into the property beforehand. And the water pressure was lower than we would have liked but I did discuss this beforehand and still booked, so did expect it. Some people might not be okay with this, but to us it was a small inconvenience.
WE loved the Location. Walking distance to Mullet and Cupecoy Beaches about 10 minutes. And short drive to Maho. Great value in all respects. Grocery store right next door. Many restaurants in walking distance.

CanadaThe water pressure was ridiculously low. Most days it was bearable, but on one day you couldn’t flush the toilet more than once every 30 minutes. If you’re a fan of a hard shower, this place is not for you.
The location was excellent. The Jordan Village contains multiple restaurants to eat at each night and only a 10 minute walk to mullet Beach. Convenient grocery store just down the steps which made using the kitchen facilities even better.

SpainThere were reviews regarding the low water pressure so it was not a surprise for us and we were fine with it. However, we did not have running water for 1 night and 1 morning which was a bummer. We were not able to flush or shower. Other than that, everything else was great.
The location was perfect! It was a few minutes away from Mullet Bay beach and CupeCoy beach. We walked to those beaches most of the time. It was easy to get to and we felt safe in the property. To our surprise there was WiFi which was amazing!

United StatesIt would be nice to have some instructions about using the remote with the air conditioning. This was new to me, because we had never been to St Maarten befor, but my son-in-law was familiar with it and got it going for us.
The apartment was clean and pleasant. Our kids picked the location that is close to where they live. It was great that it is so close to a market and restaurants in Cupecoy. The kitchen is clean and well-furnished with glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. No bugs.

CanadaLow water pressure so it was hard to get sand off. As such, after a week there was sand everywhere on the floor and in the bed, despite our best efforts. Would have been nice to have extra bedding and a broom/dust pan, or have a cleaner tidy up part way through our week stay. Also the host communication was not optimal, I think because a language barrier. The instructions to find the lock box could easily be improved with some added instructions and clarity. We had to get the complex manager to help us and she was aware of this issue, which again could be easily resolved.
Very clean upon arrival. Good location, right by grocery stores and restaurants, and within walking distance to one of the beach beaches on the island IMO. I liked staying on this part of the island as it was easy to get to the French side and generally not as busy. Always felt safe. Kitchen was well-equipped. Nice closet to hang up clothes. Nice to have balcony. Internet didn't work the first day but then worked well for us after I asked host about it. Overall, though, it was a good stay for the price. We weren't at the apartment much so we didn't need anything fancy and this did the trick.

SwedenHost communication was TERRIBLE. I asked them if I could just leave my bike and or my luggage inside before the checkin time. They either didn't bother to read my message properly or didn't speak English at all. They said "no" I couldnt and their explanation was gibberish. I explained again, and again their answer was : " sorry, you can't delay checkout". I was not asking to delay checkout, I was asking to park my bike inside the facility so it would make my life easier, not to have to carry that and my luggage under the Sun. After I went there for the checkin, I saw there was plenty of space in the parking lot where I could have left my bike, it would no affect the work of the cleaning team at all. But they did not wanna help. Check the screenshots of my messages with them for you to see the level of unprofessional communication they have. RED FLAG: As soon as I booked with them, the listing was taken down from the website leaving me with a very uneasy feeling about it. And after checkin I realized why. Their communication is bad in every sense: check-in was difficult. They wrote a code for the gate that DOES NOT WORK. So I had to wait for someone coming out so I could sneak in. The WIFI password they wrote in the listing was incorrect, so I had to message and deal with them AGAIN. The shower does not have any pressure and does not get hot. It's just dripping water. I basically had no shower during my whole stay Their reminder notification they sent was telling me my checkout was before 8 am. When I booked, it said it was 10 am. Again, that stressed me out, that I had to contact then again to clarify. The picture in the listing ad is of a beautiful view to the beach. It's a lie, there's no beautiful view...the view is to a parking lot Stay away from this place!
The location is good

BrazilThe only thing that I missed was a beach umbrella and a beach chair. Should be nice have one at the place to enjoy Mullet Beach.
A very clean, complete and confort place with a good price. Location is 20 minutes walking until Maho Beach (to see the airplanes) and 5 minutes walking to Mullet Bay Beach, for me one of the most beautiful I ever saw.
