Actually nothing except the beach chair staff went on vacation so no beach chairs available. They gave you other places to go to nearby.

the beach was covered with sargassum and the woven art and lamp shades in the room were dusty.

the staff were helpful and friendly and the location was near beach shops and restaurants. the room had more than enough supplies for us for the weekend and had easy beach and pool access. the surroundings were calm and serene.

Orient Beach Hotel is perfectly located on the beach and next to Orient Village. The beach is gorgeous and Marvin and Jimmy takes such good care of the guests and setting them up and comfortable chairs with umbrellas and tables. June and Kim at reception to everything to ensure that, your stay is comfortable and help with all dining reservations and suggestions. The hotel is a perfect location for someone looking for a great beach getaway!

The room I stayed in on the ground floor had a wonderful balcony with sun loungers facing the pool and ocean view. The room was close to wooden floors, very clean, a very comfortable bed, and an excellent bathroom. There was a well-equipped kitchen. The breakfast surprised me as I was expecting a typical American breakfast, but we had an excellent buffet with a variety of eggs, bacon, cheeses, fruits, etc. The breakfast really exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy parking, and the hotel is located on the best beach in Saint Martin, Bikini Beach in Orient Bay. The location of the hotel is truly privileged, with several good restaurants nearby, a supermarket close by, and many places to have lunch by the sea. The hotel provided excellent chairs and umbrellas.

It’s a perfect little hotel. The room is spacious and clean, and has balcony with beautiful view of the beach. Breakfast at the beach restaurant and beach chairs & parasol are included. Nice restaurants and a little grocery store are walking distance. So perfect for relaxing vacation!!

Can't think of one thing.

The charm of the location of the hotel, The beach was gorgous. There are five beaches to walk to and have cocktails at different locations. The staff it at the hotel were so wonderful and could not have been more helpful. Junior was great. getting us taxis and reservations to towels for the beach. I could go on and on. We felt like we were in paradise.

I did not like the beach chair situation. It was our understanding that the chairs and umbrellas in the front of the hotel would be free for us to use during our stay there. We found that only the 3rd and 4th "rows" back from the ocean were for us to use "free" . The first row was $30 and the second was $20. Also, we were confined to one single "section" during the day when it was "cruise ship day"

Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast, so it was as expected. I liked the location of the hotel and the easy access to bars and restaurants on the beach

At breakfast, everyday the staff at the Resturant used a loud leaf blower to clear sand off of the patio. It was very noisy.

Excellent location on the beach. We've stayed on Orient beach in the past. This location was prime and one of the best. Easy parking. Rooms were in great condition with great amenities. Housecleaning staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast was as expected, mini croissants, some cold cuts and cheese. Great coffee and tea selection. The fresh baguettes were delicious. All around awesome stay.
