i would genuinely highly recommend this hostel. the owner philip is very friendly and generous and would help yiu with whatever you need. the histel is a 10 min walk from the beach but in a nice and quiet neighborhood. the hostel felt like home with a well equipped kitchen and common area with amenities like an actual coffee machine, free tabaco, a lot of free food and everything you need to cook and a very relaxing common area. aswell as a terrace and a garden. booked 2 night and stayed a week.

The best hostel I’ve stayed at - didn’t even feel like a hostel, more so a friend’s house Filip is a great host, makes everyone feel welcome and is always around to hang out with, give recommendations etc The hostel itself is close to the centre and very clean 100% recommend and great to work remote from too

The hostel is basically a beautiful villa ,with an amazing garden just 10 min walking from the Old Town ,amazing place ,amazing wifi. The best from all looks to be the owner Filip.He is very chill and super friendly ,this makes the other guests to interact better with each other and create a good atmosphere. I just have one little advice ,you have amazing and solid beds but please change the planks under the mattresses , as soon as you move just a bit they shake and this couse discomfort. The rest was amazing

Ohrid is a very special place, and if you find a hostel like Golden Age... well, you won't want to leave. The beds have a drawer underneath to organize things, and it makes it very practical. The managers are super friendly and make you feel at home. They organize meals, games, and even put a screen in the garden to watch soccer or movies. This brings people together a lot, and you end up making friends with everyone. Also if you are in the hostel for five nights, laundry is free. I recommend it 🙂

The accommodation is great very colorful and beautiful. The hosts are super nice and helpful, they allowed us to check-in early, the room is perfect and relaxing with a balcony with a direct view on the fortress. You'll find all you need. I definitely recommend staying there while in Ohrid, a few minutes walking and you're at the lake

Beautifully friendly and communal hostel, in a great location. Great value for money. It has the atmosphere you want from a hostel, and which many hostels lack. Filip, who runs it, is a wonderful guy, and very helpful. I couldn't recommend it higher!

The atmosphere of the hostel is great. You are welcomed into a second family and I felt at home. Everyone is open for social activities, but it's also perfectly fine if you want to do something by yourself. Kitchen, bathroom and bed are all good quality; location is in a quiet area but walking distance from the beautiful city and lake. Would recommend, would definitely come back! Thank you Filip & Winnie and the rest of the crew for taking such good care of your guests!

Are you looking for a place that makes you feel right at home? This will be the place for you. You will be treated like family by Filip and Winnie. You will be included in games or dinners. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to town. Big pull out lockers under the beds, just bring your own small lock. Plenty of hot water which is always nice. Lots of dishes and pans to use in the shared kitchen. Four bathrooms - nice! Strong Wi-Fi.

Everything! Philipe, Winnie and all the others made me feel so welcome. Trivia night was so much fun! Beds were comfortable, location was great - nothing to complain about at all! Met so many wonderful people there. I hope to be back one day.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff!! We were a group of 23 and we were contacted in advance if they could help us with anything, we had a 40 min call in which they highlighted all things to do in/around Ohrid, as well as restaurants and night activities. Also during our stay they were very welcoming. Bonuspoint: free coffee :) We had an amazing time here!
