Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The apartment is very comfortable, clean and feels like you are in your own home. The hostess of the apartment is very kind. The apartment is in the center zone, and the city center itself is a 6,7-minute walk away. I'll definitely come back again

Excellent host, great location near the city center. Free private parking. Host Sanja is very pleasant and kind. We will come here for sure next time.Accommodation is for every recommendation.

(not a negative, just advice). That although we booked it on Booking.com, we had to pay cash when we arrived, which we didn't have because we just arrived in the country and it was late. This isn't abnormal, but we were chased down when we had a busy week of work. Just have cash ready to give when you arrive! Also, there is no aircon in the bedrooms, but there is in the living room!
The host, Sanja, met us there personally, but there is key box. The location is minutes away from the river and town centre/old town. It's a great apartment for small group or family!

We had an exceptional stay in Skopje, the apartment was impeccably clean, bright, and spacious, with unbelievably comfortable beds. It had everything you could possibly need. Sanja, our host, was outstanding, so warm, helpful, and incredibly informative, sharing great local tips that enriched our visit. The location couldn’t be better, just a short, pleasant walk to the city center, making it easy to explore on foot. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and can’t wait to return when we’re back in Skopje! A five-star experience all around! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sanja was very kind and helpful. The apartment is very nice and the location is excellent. Everything was clean and high quality. She has done an excellent job setting up the space. The walk to the center is very easy and only a few minutes. The washer is big and it was great to have a dishwasher, too. We were glad to have a safe place to keep our van. Parking can be very difficult in Skopje but this worked out great. We will definitely request to stay here again when we come to Skopje.

I coudnt find any flaw.
Everything, apartman covered all you need for comfortable staying, apartman is adorable, looks exactly like on pictures, and really clean. Owner is really polite and wants to help. She gave us a lot of suggestions what to visit and what to see.

Everything was great
The location was great. The appartment is clean, renovated and well equipped. Sanja, the host was very pleasant and cheerful. We stayed with a baby and got a cot for my baby. Really, I cant think of anything that could be improved or that we were missing. We are travelling often to Skopje and this will for sure be place to book again.

No complaints at all.
This apartment is the best choice I have ever experienced! The owner is incredibly kind and responsible, always willing to help, even with matters unrelated to the accommodation itself. I can confidently give a rating of 10+ for tidiness, cleanliness and hospitality. Placed in the new building with free parking place. Bedrooms are wonderfully furnished, nice kitchen is equipped with dishes and everything you might need to ensure a very comfortable stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location in the city—a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the city center. We would definately come again.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The space is perfect and it feels so cozy and nice. Bedrooms are perfect, beds are soo comfy we slept like babies and you have a lot of towels so you don't have to bring yours. City center is close and in the building you have super cheap market "Dim" so you are fully equipped. We will definitely back and can't wait to meet with lovely host Sanja and her mom in the future.. :)

Really perfect, 5 minutes by feet from the city centre, very clean and cozy, and - last but not least for me - the private parking lot. Finding it and getting the keys was not a problem: Sanja was there waiting for me :-). I will come back for my next trip to Skopje

The property was very clean and comfortable as it is in the pictures.It is a new building with a free parking included. Very close to the center and you got everything you need! The owner is very friendly and helped us for everything and gave us some suggestion for the places that we should go. Highly recommended!
