Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsMattresses/pillow situation wasn't the best, and the shower head could use a replacement/new bar. But the quality for the price was really great!
The location was amazing, just 2 minutes from the ferries and the bus stop that takes you pretty much anywhere. Plenty of space in the room and the building itself is really nice.

PolandI truly enjoyed my stay at Boho Rooms in Sliema. The location is perfect, on a quiet street, hidden from the bustling centre but still close to all the important places. The bus stops and ferry harbour are located just around the corner from the place. Rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with all the necessary things. The A/C was working well, which is crucial in places like Malta. The hosts are lovely and helpful people, making your stay even more pleasant.

GermanyI would recommend the accommodation to anyone who does not expect hotel service. The bed is very comfortable, the location is excellent and the staff is very friendly. They even offered me to leave my things at the accommodation in case of a late flight, which was very practical for me considering that I checked out at 10 in the morning and flew at 10 at night. Def staying here again

AustraliaLocation was 3min walk to Sliema ferries. Close to cafes, restaurants, shops and public transport. Airport bus stop was approx 2min walk from accommodation. Room was large and bathroom was just as large with stand alone bath. No fridge in room but there was communal fridge which could be used. Supermarkets close by. Walking distance to places to swim. Definitely recommend to those that want to stay in Sliema.

United KingdomThe property could do with a motion sensor light in the main entrance way and stairway. I appreciate not leaving lights on at night however when we arrived at gone 9pm the property was in darkness and had to use our phone torches to find our way around. Would also have been helpful to know which floor our room was on instead of trying to find the room again in torchlight as we initially couldn't find the correct light switches.
The property is in an amazing location on a side street off the main strip though Sliema. It has very easy access to the main bus routes and ferry port for the organised day trips and the boat across to Valletta. There was a small court yard to have breakfast in and shared kitchen facilities. The staff were friendly and offered to store luggage after we had checked out and gave a spare key to the main door to get back inside after check out to collect luggage. The bed was comfy and thankful for air conditioning. Good value for money.

LuxembourgGreat location, close to lots of nice places to eat and waterfront. Clean rooms with comfortable bed. We had a very cute room with lots of nice details. Common kitchen downstairs. On the downside the walls are very thin, if neighbors are coming in late one can hear them. There is also construction next door but I felt like the whole city was under heavy construction, like everywhere you go there was some construction work going on.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaMy friend and I stayed in Room 4 for four days. While we understand this is a guest house and not a hotel, basic issues like storage space, dust, and properly arranged bedding can easily be addressed. A small wardrobe, nightstands, and bathroom hooks would make a big difference, as the lack of storage would be uncomfortable with more belongings. We also noticed dust on the floor and lamps, which could be improved with better cleaning. These are small, simple fixes that would elevate the experience and make the accommodation a perfect 10/10.
This accommodation truly resonated with my personality, as every step within the property felt like a carefully curated frame. The entrance hallway was spectacular, leading to a chic inner courtyard, followed by a descent into a communal basement space full of historic charm. I was particularly fascinated by the old stone sinks and the hammock, which was a unique experience for me. While the room was satisfactory, it did have some minor shortcomings. The accommodation was perfectly located in a quiet, peaceful street, yet just a short walk from the main road with access to buses, ferries, and other transport. The area offered more affordable prices compared to central Valletta, which was a great bonus. The staff was incredibly kind, and the overall experience, from the beautifully designed interiors and chic courtyard to the historic charm of the communal spaces, exceeded my expectations.
