The location of the Hotel couldn't be better, with the Bus Station just up the road plus you are with in a stones throw of the City Centre from the Bus Station. The Room was good with a Bath and Shower plus the views from our Balcony were beautiful, looking over the Harbour. The Room we had booked was a Room with a Partial Seaview and it was situated on Floor 7. The Breakfast was excellent with lots of different choices, from a Good Fry up to Cereals and Croissants.

Noisy tree cuttling from 7am. Cleaner arrived to clean room a 745am woke me up.

Breakfast is excellent if not a little busy at the counters. Facilities are excellent.

Walk up to the town, (88 steps)shuttle that was advertised only ran twice a day. However downloaded Bolt so could travel for €3 Could have done with an outside eating area as weather was so good

Concierge service was disappointing. This was our first trip to Malta and we would have appreciated some support on activities/excursions to join. This was not forthcoming.

The location is excellent, it was so easy to walk into Valetta. The room was spacious and bright. Loved the balcony and sunshine. Friendly turn down service. Room cleaners were outstanding. Excellent breakfast with amazing views over the harbour.

*The restaurants: À la carte menu restaurant’s menu was not great, limited options and the food we had was very basic.The bar restaurant has many options; however it’s “bar food” so eating in the hotel is not ideal (shame) * Housekeeping: they should have a check list of the items they have to leave in the room every day when they clean, some days we were given face clothes some many others no, we had just 2 small bars of soap (never topped up) for the whole 7 days. ☹️

The rooms (in particular the bathroom) start exhibiting signs of age.

The location is perfect for visiting the city center. It is also very convenient to get to the central bus terminal. Very nice and supportive staff.

The room looks outdated and need some modern input. There is no socket at the bedside and there was no iron in the room. They need to put in some modern toilet,as the one in my room drips and looks full up

The food was good and the location was excellent. It is a walking distance to town centre The staff were very polite and cleanliness was excellent. The room is spacious and the bed is ok.

the bathroom has very little toiletries, the shampoo and shower gel had been used so it was half empty. we had arrived late so no shops were open, all we had was a shaver kit with a blunt razor, a shower cap and used shampoo and shower gel, for a 5 star hotel you would expect new items for each patron. and more toiletries such as a tooth brush etc., like what is supplied at the Raddison. the bedroom had no plugs next to the bed which was frustrating when i wanted to charge my phone as i couldn't use it while in bed. gladly i brought an extension lead but for others it could have been annoying. the worst part for me was that we ordered drinks at the bar and had to wait well over 30 mins which is crazy, even asking the staff over and over where they were, when we eventually got our drinks they got our drinks wrong and my friend had to wait for such a long time just to get some wine, so long that i ended up going to the bar myself to get the wine and still had to wait a while. the tables around us were not cleared of food for ages, the staff didn't know what was going on. we asked if we could pay at a particular till, told yes and then when we got there we were told we couldn't pay there. the manager of the bar (i assumed he was anyway as he was dressed differently to the others) was so rude to one of his staff right in front of us which was very awkward, the barman was just trying to put our order though the till for us to pay for our drinks, and then the manager told him off for serving us and wanted him to put a particular bill through the till. the bar wasn't even that busy, so i don't understand why he had to treat his staff in such a way.

the room was very large and he bed was comfortable, i really liked the pillows, in all fairness i had a great nights sleep, the locations was very central to Valletta which is good with ample parking. the front desk staff were so friendly. i really liked the bath too as it was very deep albeit small.

Shame the pool and beach area still work in progress. Was hoping the private beach was unusable. It was a construction site! I also reported on the first day that the sink in the bathroom had a faulty plug and it did not work. I was unable to use the sink all visit to wash or have a shave. Had to shave in a shower without a mirror. I was informed on the first day that this would be fixed, although this was not repaired during my visit. I was disappointed based on the fact that I had selected a prremier room for my stay and could not use the sink!" The spa area was limited as the sauna, etc, was closed during my visit, and I enjoy a sauna! Would appreciate it if someone could call me back with feedback on my comments, please +44 7789982721

The building and decor was dated and needed attention. Similarly the sliding doors both in the room and the spa area needed a bit of muscle to move them.

Food and service were excellent. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.
