This was my first time booking this type of accommodation. I missed that I was only booking a room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. To be fair, it was in the host's description, but I missed that part when I booked my trip. My stay was great regardless of that fact, but if I try this type of accommodation again, I will make sure to book the entire apartment.

The apartment is in Hamrun district, around 25min by walk from Valletta centre. Nearest bus stop to Valletta is 7min away. (51, 52 or 53). 15 min away from airport shuttle bus stop TD4 (Bombi 3). If you are kin for strolling then it is the best option. Otherwise, use BOLT or UBER to get around.

Clean, spacious, renovated apartment. Beautiful bathroom, fully furnished kitchen, available coffee and tea, sugar and kitchenware. Tab water filter, Double Bed is comfortable and clean. Hot water, towels, shampoo, soap, wifi, etc. Very thoughtful owner Alex, was kind and full supportive, prompt and clear communication. Very convenient and reluctant stay.

A bigger bed would have been more comfortable. I can't judge the location of the apartment in relation to the bus network but I expected better.

Good location with public transport access, but not walking distance to Valleta or Sliema.

Facilities were very comfortable and clean. Easy public transport access. Cheap Bolt rides from the airport, Valletta and Sliema. We had no issues to communicate with the host. The host was really helpful at all times!

It may have been a little uncomfortable if Alex was here the entire stay but as it was it was perfect for us.

We had our own bedroom and shared a lounge/kitchen area as well as the bathroom. Alex was away for the majority of our stay, so we had the place to ourselves. Close to a number of bus stops, restaurant's, supermarkets and bottle shop.

The area itself is kind of sketchy and for sure not the nicest part of Malta or near Valetta. But it's close enough to Valetta and well connected by public transport, Filler filler filler filler.

We are not use to sharing apartmant with someone else, but this was very good experience! We are delighted how clean and neat everything was. Bed was very comfortable, we could made everything that we want in kitchen. Bathroom was so so clean like no one ever use it! We have nice communication with host, he is so friendly and kind. The bed was a little narrow, that was a bit difficult for us, but if you don't need so much space, the bed is enough for two people

The host was very friendly and the room was very clean. All the facilities all the facilities in the room description are true and the bed was very comfortable. The room and the whole apartment seems to be renovated.

The apartment was priced as and listed as "Private apartment in building", it was NOT private. I re-read the entire listing and the only hint that it wasn't private was "shared kitchen", I have stayed at many private apartments where there is a share kitchen downstairs. This is listed as a "Home Stay", yet there is no definition anywhere on Booking.com at the time of booking. All AirB's are home stays, but when you rent an entire apartment you get it. After arriving I immediately spoke to the host Alex about being unhappy with the listing. When I showed him evidence in the listing page, confirmation email, and communications showing that it was listed as private, he immediately became agressive and threatening. I asked about altering the booking, not being happy with the misleading description, and his only response was about keeping all of the money. Alex refused to take any responsibility for all of the incorrect information, even after admitting he wrote the description and bio for the listing. I *Calmly* communicated with Alex I was unhappy with the listing (I was to pay more for his share house room than I ended up paying for a private apartment in a better location with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and having it completely to myself) his only response was aggression, threats, and a raised voice while talking over anything I was trying to explain. Priced correctly, this sharehouse room would be ok. The place is clean and adequate, the shower was so soft it would be impossible for anyone with long hair, and its location is actually somewhat isolated with not a lot inside a 5 - 10 mins walking radius. The bottom line is that at the time of booking the listing was VERY misleading starting it was the entire apartment when it wasn't, and what made the situation bad was just HOW angry and aggressive Alex became upon expressing my displeasure. I would NOT advise staying here based on Alex's threats and aggression alone....

The room had its own A/C unit and small Juliet balcony. The kitchen seemed ok, and the bathroom was clean. The room size was ok, but small enough I was walking over my suitcase.
