Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

PortugalWe liked everything. However, as a suggestion to further improve the experience: mid-stay cleaning for longer stays, a TV in the bedroom, and a coffee machine (capsules)
The photos perfectly reflect the property. Very well decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Easy parking. Well located for a pleasant walk to the center of La Valletta. Cafés and a pharmacy nearby. Host availability .

NetherlandsAs a tip, we would suggest that the hosts provide a high chair and some step stools, so that children can wash their hands more easily and don’t have to use the nice dining chairs, which could get dirty.
The spacious rooms felt very pleasant. The view is breathtaking, and the small balconies are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The two bathrooms were also a great plus.

AustraliaA little bit more water presure in the showers would be nice, but that might be due to it being an old building.
We absolutely adored this property. It is in a beautiful old building but inside appears new and recently renovated. What is so lovely and amazing is that they kept the lovely old features like the many original tiled floors and the lovely balconies with the old windows and doors. The location is also fantastic as it is a stone throw from the entrance to the walled city of Valletta. You can even see that from the distance from the balcony of the apartment. So location is very central even if it is just outside of the actual walled city. The hosts were amazing too, very good communicaters and they even provided for some cold refreshments, for a fee of course, so we could have a cold drink up on arrival. Our flight into Malta was not until late, plus the taxi from the Airport etc, it was just the best that the hosts did organise this for us so we could straight away relax and enjoy the beautiful apartment. We were very greatful they made the efford to do this for us. All in all, it was just an amazing stay. Oh and the bonus... The elevator took us straight into our apartment! What a luxury! I often just walked around the apartment, looking out of the windows at various balconies and just simply enjoy the place. The whole experience was just the best. Made us feel a little like living in Malta for 9 nights. And of course, we loved Malta!!

United KingdomThe dishwasher tablet / salt was missing, so I couldn't use the dishwasher - but there was a sponge and dish soap, so I was using the dishwasher like a dish rack ... lol The bell sound from the church opposite side of the flat was really too much for me - I tried to enjoy the bells that comes every 15 min and lasts the longest 2:30 min, but honestly this degrades the flat value a lot. Thanks to the sound of church bells, I now can tell the hours without looking at my watch!
I loved everything about that flat! It has plenty of glasses, plates, cutleries. I really enjoyed making the coffee with the electric moka coffee maker, which I have never seen before :-D Ability to access the flat with just a door code is a bliss! I loved the Maltese balcony, I wish I have that in my flat too. Honestly all the facility was great and no trace of bugs life, which I often find some in the warm country flats - the flat is cleaned extremely well, which I really really appreciated!

We recently celebrated my sister's 50th birthday with a four-night stay at Florette Suites Designer, and it was an incredible experience! Our group of three ladies chose this apartment based on the glowing reviews on Booking.com, its stylish design, and convenient location—and it certainly did not disappoint! From the outset, communication with Martina was fantastic. She was responsive and helpful, setting a positive tone for our trip. The property was spotless, bright, and easily accessible. We took a Bolt taxi from the airport and arrived in just 10 to 15 minutes. Our aunt, who had arrived earlier, was able to check in ahead of schedule upon request. Additionally, we were grateful for the option to check out later. The moment we stepped into the apartment, we felt welcomed. The décor was exquisite, with high-quality furniture that left us so impressed that we even considered purchasing the same sofas for our homes! The kitchen was fully equipped and impeccably clean. The only suggestions I have would be to add labels on the lids of the bins for plastic, paper, and organic waste to avoid confusion, and to provide a few more kitchen towels and a dish rack, as we opted not to use the dishwasher and needed a place to dry our washed dishes. The floors we amazing all through out and the old window shutters gave the apartment an extra charm! The bathrooms were fantastic—no complaints there! I slept on the sofa bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The main bedroom was also amazing, featuring a kind of walk-in closet. The apartment provided ample storage options for all our belongings in all the rooms. It truly enhanced our stay, allowing us to keep everything organised and tidy. The apartment offered excellent Wi-Fi and a great selection of entertainment options, including cable TV, YouTube, and Netflix. Location-wise, the apartment was within walking distance of Valletta, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful neighbourhood.

IrelandNothing, our only issue was that we had to leave!
The apartment is incredible and finished to the highest standards. Kitchen and bathrooms are superb, the Maltese tiled floor is beautiful and the lift directly into the apartment is a nice touch. The location is approx 450m to the gate of Valetta and the bus station. There is a lovely little cafe right outside the door and the view of the church is lovely. The bells were not a problem and added to the atmosphere actually. The apartment is on a corner and features both external and internal traditional Maltese balconies which are really, really beautiful. The apartment is large and well laid out, the air conditioning (which was needed during a Maltese heatwave) was perfect and we were sad to leave. One tiny recommendation would be for the inclusion of a microwave in the kitchen. This apartment was a little more expensive given the location and proximity to the centre of Valletta but it was worth every penny, we loved it.

AustraliaNothing to be honest.
apartment was large, loved the 2 bedrooms, the entry is via a personal lift to the entrance of the apartment, spotless and new, well planned, modern with a Maltese twist, balcony was great, 2 to be exact. Public parking outside for free and would recommend you have a car as can get around easier. loved the cathedral outside our block, 2 cafes right down stairs, the area was quiet and pretty and only 5mins by car to Valletta and flat which was a bonus for elderly mum and aunt to get around. Lots of locals in this area and were extremely polite. Refrigerator was large and cooking facilities were great. AC was perfect and kept us cool in the very hot weather. A great place to stay if 2 couples, family or friends of 4. As a travel agent I totally recommend this apartment it has it all and a great price and value for money. Only downside, no supermarkets close by only mini mart types which are pricey, so recommend you shop first. The next neighborhoods only 15 mins away have large supermarkets, which we discovered later so made up for it. Great choice and 5 out of 5 for me.

United KingdomBeware that the lift from 0 floor goes directly in the apartment, without using any door. Sometimes we were freaking out that anyone can silently crawl to the middle of our apartment at night and the lift is very silent. Sometimes lift was coming and opening the doors and was empty inside. That was a bit scary. However, if you are brave or have mobility issues, the lift which goes straight to apartment can be a huge advantage. Hot water was not enough to take shower for 2 people. The Church nearby is ringing the bells very often, not good for sensitive sleepers.

United KingdomOpposite a church and although we quite like the sound of church bells, could be a problem for light sleepers, as the bells ring every 15 minutes and throughout the night.
