MaltaIdeally they give guests a heads up that the a/cs run on a coin meter, and that it only accepts €1 and €2 coins. The 3rd double bed is quite small when compared to the other 2 perfectly sized double beds. Some appliances need an upgrade such as the oven and the microwave as they weren’t working too great. The pool area is enclosed by newly built apartments and it can get uncomfortable having neighbours frequently staring down at you.
We were 8 guests and found this property very comfortable, spacious and clean with ample parking outside the premises. 2 of the double bedrooms came with an ensuite. It was equipped with strong a/cs and fans in every room, clean towels provided, it had very good WiFi across all rooms including the games room in the basement, big fridge and a good freezer. Pool was lovely, good temperature, clean, size and depth. Customer service was also very good.

MaltaProperty address should read Triq il-Kbira and not Triq il-Kalkara - it will help foreigners using google maps to find location easier. At circa 10.30pm, We had an issue with the AC meter and it took EUR 3 without updating the credit. Although customer care responded immediately, we were not given a solution as "maintenance wasn't answering". We had a pregnant lady with us and the use of AC was imperative. The ceiling fan in her room wasn't working and the stand fans provided were filthy, risking respiratory issues if they were switched on. It was our last night there and the solution provided was "we will send technician tomorrow morning", by which time we would have been already checked out by 10am. If a customer service is provided 24/7, I would expect timely assistance for the price we paid. Thankfully, the AC meter situation resolved on its own later and it worked again taking an additional EUR 5 to last us for the night. We lost the first EUR 3 as the meter did not update the credit with this amount. The first day, everything worked fine. During this same night, one of the ACs did not work either, despite working the previous night leaving another couple spending their last night sleeping uncomfortably. We decided it was not worth calling customer support again at that point since no solution was provided for our first complaint.
Ease of access, street parking, large pool. If it weren't for the issue we experienced with the AC meter customer support, I would say it was a pleasant getaway.

Maltathe farmhouse was filthy - there were left over packets and wrappers, it was infested with ants because of the dirt left - all the cutlerly, plates and glasses where dirty. I msged the owner as soon as I went in and realised this to be told that they will come the next day (therefor we had to clean everything and do everything ourselves as we wanted to cook and eat that evening.) I then got contacted by Diana - who said that at least they will refund not all the cleaning fee please note but 50% of the cleaning fee - which till today more than a month later I haven't received, I keep on msging Diana and trying to call but she reads my msgs and never answers. Please don't go to this farmhouse or others by these owners as they are clearly there to just take ur money and thats it
