Finland- The shower leaked onto the floor (forgot to mention this to the reception but I'm sure they would have fixed it quick) - The bathroom sliding door is very heavy to move and I can just imagine what happens if that handle comes off (you'd be stuck in there) - This is not the hotels fault but the St Julians area is really not for everyone. I also like to party but that main area was a bit too much to see every night. Would recommend visiting other places like Valletta, Sliema, Gozo, Mdina etc.
Great modern hotel with a nice rooftop area offering stunning views. The location is very central so there are a lot of services around. Special thanks to housekeeping that kept the room shiny every day. I would also like to mention that the rooftop bar was very affordable considering the standard of the hotel and the amazing views.

BelgiumPersonally I didn’t like the neighbourhood, with it’s cheap entertainment but despite that, I would definitely go back as it’s really quiet inside the hotel and it takes 2’ to grab a cab and go wherever you want.
The staff is amazing. We spent 1 Night at another 5* hotel , very close to the Hyatt but the difference was huge. You can notice the experience of a renowned hotel group behind the well trained enthusiastic staff. We spent 2 nights there, before heading to Gozo and came back for another 2 nights. It felt like coming home ! Good laughs at the reception. If you need a car : no need to queue at the AirPort. Book it at Valentina’s desk ,good prices, it takes 3’ and pick it up at 100 m next to the hotel. We also enjoyed the poolbar , with Nice drinks and delicious little dishes, served by smiling lovely people. Special thanks to Anna for her tips and advice. She’s the personification of Hospitality 😊

The rooftop pool area was extremely nice, beautiful view over the city and the sea. Our room was clean and roomservive came very frequently to tidy up our room. I liked the gym and the courtyard in front of the building where you can have breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening.

PolandAs you may read in other comments, the hotel is very close to St Julian's evening party clubs area. Depending on your preferences and expectations, this may be an advantage or disadvantage for you - as to get to/from Spinola Bay at late evening/night, you will probably be passing the crowds in front of the bars and clubs.
For those of you who like the evening life, it may be an excellent location. We found the hotel to be modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful - greetings to Mr. Hoque! The small pool on the 11th floor is pleasurable - not too cold, not too warm either. The room we had was quiet and allowed us to have a good night’s sleep. The beds were also very comfortable. We also liked the lobby and place to seat down outside the hotel. We enjoyed staying there a lot.

ChinaWe had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Malta overall! The hotel surprised us with a cute birthday cake and a complimentary room upgrade, which made our visit extra special. Valentina was absolutely amazing — extremely kind, patient, and incredibly helpful in organizing our trips and suggesting great food spots. The “Tip Top One” catamaran trip she recommended turned out to be the highlight of our vacation! The lounge quickly became one of our favorite places, offering plenty of delicious finger food and drinks from 5–7 pm. The only downside was the unstable hot water supply. On the last two evenings of our three-night stay, the hot water was very weak or almost nonexistent. While the front desk staff were always friendly and said they would work on fixing it, it still took several hours before we eventually requested a spare room just to take a shower. Unfortunately, we did not receive any compensation beyond apologies. Despite this inconvenience, I would still rate our stay 9/10 for the nearly perfect experience and my sincere appreciation to all the hotel staff who worked so hard to make our visit so memorable.
