Outdoor pool not open, but it is not high season yet. Gym only had a couple of machines and the pool is very small - just for kids really. There was construction noise all the time we were staying there, but it wasn't their fault and we were not in the room much during the day.

Fairly good location, with 24hr reception, restaurant, very small gym and very small indoor pool. Room was equipped with kitchen facilities - fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and hob/rings. Plenty of crockery and glasses etc plus sharp knives and cutlery. Comfortable beds and space to move around, with added bonus of a small table and chairs. Parking available for a few cars right outside. Very close to bus stops.

Negatives Cleaning in 2 weeks only 3 times! The floors were not washed the whole time and were dirty. The towels were worn. In bed, you could feel the springs on your back. In the indoor pool, the tiles came off and the jacuzzi didn't work. There is no service attitude at the reception. The taxi we ordered in the morning of departure came half an hour late. I received a birthday flowers that was brought to the room by the cleaner but the message from the sender had been ripped out

Positives Porto azurro The apartment was spacious and the kitchen had a lot of cupboards and plenty of table space as well as a stove and oven. There was plenty of hot water. Bus stop nearby and buses were running constantly. Transportation to the airport was reasonably priced €22 and the driver is friendly.

Private house with roosters just below the window. No sea view. Constructuin was very noisy on Friday morning, could not sleep. Also the bed is with strings, not so comfortable, you feel when you turn…elevator is small

We were in the room 511 and it doesn't have any view - you just look in the building (in the photo you can see our "view". It is also very loud if someone sits and talks outside. In our room you could also hear the elevator at night. The equipment is a bit dated. It would be great if there would be more kitchenware in the kitchen. There is a small balcony with only one chair and a little table. If you are travelling more than 2 people I do not advise you this apartment because 2 people will need to sleep on the couch in the living room and it is very very uncomfortable. They have a pool inside but unfortunately water is cold.

People working in Porto Azzuro are very kind. Our apartment was very big, almost too big. We booked one bedrom apartment and we had 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms were nice, renovated. The location of the hotel is great, just by the sea and there is a nice shop nearby. There is also a parking space just outside of the hotel for free. Overall it is ok for the price you pay. There is water heater, microwave, refrigerator, freezer,..

TV not working, remote need to ask from reception with deposit after all batteries were old not working. Plugs to charge the mobile are not near the bed, very uncomfortable. No shampoo, only soap, no hairdryer. The quilt is very old like for babies. The restaurant had a very bad smell inside (of drainage may be). The cook doesn't know simple cooking techniques like how to prepare scrambled egg and fry bacon, he was asked twice to cook bacon and it still was not fried but like boiled. Lifts are very far from reception.

I love this location and revisit it; it's near countryside & has good connections to other destinations. The swimming pool is excellent in the summer, but in winter the indoor pool suffices.

It was my location the night before La Valette marathon so it served very well for the purpose. Fantastic receptionist: The lady working that evening (23/03) at the reception must be awarded for her kindness, readiness to help, etc. I have never met a receptionist that was ready to help not only because it was her job but she genuinely wanted to offer you the best service possible. Comfy bed: mattress was perfect for my personal preferences.

It depends on what room, location and standard of room you get as to whether you enjoy this aparthotel. The breakfast was very basic. I didn't bother with it after the first day. Some of the rooms were being refurbished although there was no noise. The room I had needed a refurb. The hotel receptionist's were very efficient but not welcoming or friendly.

Excellent value for money. This was my second stay. Convenient location for bus network. Close to the sea and the Heritage Trail.

I did not like couldn’t care less attitude of member of staff about 4 pm on 18th February….not well mannered and just not friendly or polite….poor service….

Room fine and we only stayed one night. I liked attitude when I called the hotel and man answering was cell t as I asked if e kuldip have cereal bowls in room please…he was checking that out. That was on morning of 18th February.

Breakfast was included in my booking, but it was definitely not a great breakfast. The first day I had English breakfast and the beans and sausage tasted strange and a bit undercooked, as I threw up later that day... The other two days I ate mostly bread and scrambled eggs and it was OK. But yeah, breakfast is very basic and I would probably skip it next time.

A got a room with great sea view on the top floor, so it was amazing. There was also a indoor pool to use. Friendly receptionists. The hotels is right next to a bus stop that takes you directly to the airport.

A bit far from the airport. A bit far from the Beach. Breakfast is basic. You need to buy your own soap and Shampoo after the first night.

Just things like the moss on the indoor pool, and the paint peeling off the walls, the brown grouting and the most uncomfortable mattress (it was badly stained and ripped). The music played full blast during breakfast (which isn’t like the photo-it was mainly cold bacon and sausage, beans and scrambled eggs. For a basic cheap holiday it was OK though-I didn’t expect much so wasn’t too disappointed when I didn’t get much if that makes sense? I do have firmer buttocks however as the hill up to the hotel certainly works the glutes!

You get what you pay for! Everything was OK.

hard to find bus pass venders

For me it was ideal - very nice room with balcony - I could sit in and enjoy the view even when it was raining - lovely staff with good recommendations on where to go - I hope to revisit!

The breakfast first morning was hardly any left, had to wait for the chefs to Cook more only comes with a little Which finished so quickly. The second morning was ok not great but ok.

The hotel is in a quiet area and it's ideal to go for a nice walk in the countryside.

The pool was cold : in november, the sea is hotter You can hear a lot of street noises if you like to sleep with open windows You can see that everything is a bit old (bed, shower, kettle, ...) but works fine
