Very clean accommodation in a quiet location, with everything you need. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very helpful. I can definitely recommend it.

I liked everything. So, nothing to comment on what I didn't like.

The hospitality of the whole team at the Rivotorto retreat house was simply excellent. My room was cleaned spotlessly. It had all what you require for a relaxed vacation, with a comfy bed and good air conditioning.The buffet breakfast was also very well appreciated, and the staff make sure you are well catered for, inclusive of a free bottle of water in your room. I would like to thank all of the team at Rivotorto for a memorable stay in Malta. In addition, the retreat house is located in a lovely village surrounded by restaurants, shops, and very good transport links to all parts of Malta.

Very comfortable stay, would recommend for the price. Although you aren’t in a main area, it is in a very convenient area to get the bus around Malta. 5min walk to bus stop that has connections to Valletta, St Paul’s Bay, Golden Bay and Mdina. Pastizzeria and convenience store close by.

"My stay at Rivotorto Retreat House was simply fantastic. I was there from August 2nd to 4th and felt at home from the very first moment. The property is impeccable, elegant, and the atmosphere is truly relaxing. Although I didn't have the chance to enjoy the breakfast, I appreciated that it was included and all the other services offered. The staff is exceptional, always smiling and ready to help. A true gem in Birkirkara that I highly recommend!"

Changing of door lock and received the info that i had to pick the new key during whole day trip outside of Birkirkara. They could informed me in advance about this (I suppose it has been planned already,prior to my arrival)so I could arrange the plans differently. Just suggestion: have in room at least one plug in reduction, for situation that someone might forgot to bring with, as was my situation.

I loved this place! I loved the breakfast! It was tasty with good choices. I loved the room it was very efficient and comfortable! I loved the service! Everyone was kind and helpful! I loved the on-site chapel and religious art! I loved the location! I used Uber to get around, but there were restaurants within walking distance. I loved the price. It was the best I found on Booking!

Perfect start to explore Malta after late landing. Good communication, easy late check in! Perfect location for trips.Three cities, Valetta or Sliema is on walking distance. (well 6-7 km) The hotel is amazing. Spotless clean, the stuff is helpful. Highly recommended for that money. Good breakfast!

There is no bidet in the room, unfortunately during my stay the boiler in the bethroom for hot water not working,and the bus nr.110 which has stop near by has some stops temporary suspended from June to July,a little bit difficult to plan my journey

There is a church super close to some rooms, i could see the bells from the windows and those bells goes off around 7.15am the both two mornings i was there. Was a surprising alarm clock :)

Really good value for the money. Obviously for that good price dont expect any luxury but a perfectly well functioning, clean room with the basics, nice staff and a decent breakfast. Downtown Valetta is just about 20min with bus. Couldnt ask more for that price. .

During my stay, there was a fiest going on, and there were three huge bells located just next to the room window that kept ringing like every 30 mins the last two days of my stay. It was like hell for me to sleep. Perhaps plan the trip to check with the host if there will be any festival or bell ringing event in advance, Unless you don't have to stay in the room during the time. In my case, the whole day was raining, and end up staying in the room.

Breakfast was great for the money I paid. The staff is incredible. The room is spotless and well-equipped, and there was even last-minute planning. I enjoyed my stay, except for the bell part. I will definitely book the same place after checking if there are any festivals during the visiting dates.

The hotel was even better than what we had expected. The cleaning service was amazing. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. Even though the checkout was supposed to be at a specific time, they allowed us to use the room with no extra charge. As for the location, there are two bus stops in a 3-minute-walking distance which means that it's very convenient. Everything was super great!!!
