United KingdomIf I had to point out anything that could be improved, it would be the pool at the back of the property—I believe it’s called the Reef Side Pool. While it’s absolutely beautiful and offers stunning views, the water was very cold, which made it hard to enjoy. It would be amazing if this pool could be heated as well. Also, on one occasion, when our room was cleaned while we were out, the door was accidentally left open. Thankfully, nothing was missing, but it was a bit unsettling to return and find the door ajar. We reported it to reception, and they said they would inform management. However, we didn’t hear anything further, which was a little disappointing as we hoped there might be some follow-up or acknowledgment of the incident.
We absolutely loved every moment of our stay—from the moment we arrived until the day we left! We stayed in the Tower Room and couldn’t be happier with our choice—the views were simply stunning. What truly made our experience special was the amazing staff. Every team member we encountered greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. A special shoutout to Heena by the poolside—thank you for taking the time to chat with us and make us feel at home! Breakfast was outstanding. The service was prompt and attentive—plates were cleared immediately, and staff were always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The variety at breakfast was one of the best we’ve seen, and everything was delicious. A big thank you to the chef at the omelette station—when I asked for poached eggs, he kindly reminded me it’s best to avoid them while pregnant. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot and showed how much care the staff puts into their service. The hotel itself was spotless, and every area impressed us. We’d happily stay here again and again. It’s the perfect spot for everyone—whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or for business. Our room was cleaned daily, with everything replenished as needed. We also loved the heated front pool—it was such a fun spot to relax, and again, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Truly a fantastic stay all around!

Gorgeous property in a lovely location. Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. So attentive and genuine. The food and drinks were unbelievable for a hotel. Palio’s was my favourite restaurant, we dined there 3 times! Everyone at the main bar were exceptional contact makers. Honestly can’t rave about this place enough. Highly recommend The Westin.

United KingdomIt was all amazing for a group of adults. There were some children although I'm not sure it's really a kids focussed hotel.
Very spacious rooms (two kingsize beds), reasonable storage and, a balcony with a gorgeous sea view. The staff were exceptional from check-in all the way through. Great breakfast and easy dining options (we only had lunch at the hotel). Sea views were gorgeous. We could walk to restaurants in the evening and taxies to Sliema and Valetta are quick and reasonably priced. The warm pool is a great temperature. You can access the sea directly but there is no beach (not unusual for Malta).

The Seaview Suite with balcony was excellent. Kitchenette, comfy beds, great terrace. Buffet breakfast was excellent but VERY crowded. We needed to wait to get in both mornings we ate breakfast. The overall neighborhood of the hotel is not pretty but the resort itself is beautifully situated.

Coming out of review retirement to praise the Westin. We booked at the last minute (same day) after a disappointing experience with another hotel. The suite we booked as a family was large, light & extremely comfortable - the beds especially were amazing. The resort overall is beautifully maintained, great fresh food, lovely view, lots to do. Our son loved kids club & the playground plus swimming. The gym was one of the best equipped I’ve ever seen. But what made the hotel was the staff. Pretty much every single person - from front desk to pool staff to restaurants, kids club & housekeeping - was deeply committed to making sure we had a great time. They made a real fuss of our small son - the service is just exceptional.

United KingdomThe toilet didn’t flush very well and the sink tap was a little precarious. Bar these two tiny aspects the room was great. The spa therapist on the other hand does not represent the quality of the westin. The treatments were over priced for the service provided. She needs further training on her method and handling hotel guests. The rest of the staff were absolutely amazing.
Absolutely fantastic stay at the Weston. The service was second to none and welcomed us to the wonderful kind and gentle Maltese culture. Everything felt easy, so much flow. The staff couldn’t do more for us. The service and hotel is world class. Easy to get to other places and very easy to obtain transport. Felt very safe. It was quiet even though the hotel was full. It felt like an upmarket home away from home! Highly recommend and will come again.
