Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some rooms in the ground floor had a strange smell and there was luck of fresh air. The room in the first floor was very good.
Very kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms, with the necessary amenities. Nice and cozy rooms. Best location with parking space.

Doors close very loudly/not very soundproof. Anya in the room. Shower door seal broken. Having to book the pool and jacuzzi.
Location was very good. Free coffee/water. Staff was super pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfy.

The room didn’t have a refrigerator, the towels weren’t changed daily and overall it was not as clean as expected

Air conditioning wasn’t the best, towel rail fell down first night and toilet didn’t flush very well. Friends had ant invasion and water pouring from their air conditioning unit.
Comfortable bed, nice room and friendly staff.

the hot tub was dirty, and we were lookign firwrad to it. The water was green almost so we didnt end up using it

The shower is quite small and there were some repairs needed in the bathroom. Small stuff, broken tiles and cracks, nothing too bad.
Excellent location. Just a short walk from the fountain and gate. The cave pool is our favorite feature. Beds were very comfortable. The housekeeping staff is very kind.

Location was great, walking distance from Valetta and near buses.The room was very big with air conditioning. We were able to have a shower after check out on the swimming pool bathroom, which it's great after a hot day to travel.

Just a short 10 minute walk from the old town, with good parking if you have a car, this hotel had everything we needed and more! They also stored our luggage and allowed us to shower prior to our late night flight! Would definitely stay again!

Some things in the bathroom were a bit broken, however compared to other hotels in Malta I would say this one was still very good.
We found the property to be conveniently located (short walk into Valletta). There were no issues with noise which can sometimes be a problem in Malta. The rooms were quite modern and well furnished. The staff were really helpful.

It was great - nothing poor!
Very useful location within walking distance of many sights into Valletta. Clean hotel with nice rooms and a small bit nice breakfast area

Convenient location just outside old city walls, nice touches like cold water dispenser and good coffee machine, little gym and plunge pool, friendly staff, room basic but has everything you need, good value for money.

No compaints really on the room or the hotel but perhaps a bit overpriced (perhaps normal for the summer period?).
The room was spacious, big bed, office, hair dryer and iron in the room. Very clean, daily housekeeping. My room had also a small balcomy. The hotel is nicely located.

Breakfast looked really disappointing so we did not have it (plenty of other options around). No toiletries in the bathroom-which was fair given the price. We would stay there again
We made such a good choice. This hotel is 4 minutes walk from Valetta. Spacious room, roof top jacuzzi and the indoor cool down pool were great. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel lobby had a mouldy smell...it's not a big deal. It's probably the humidity from the pool. Just soemthing to think about. Again, not a big deal but I thoughg I would mention it. Definitely not a deal breaker!
Great location! A pleasant 7 minute walk to the Valletta Gate and bus station. Quiet area and safe. Rooms are clean and perfect for our short trip to Malta.
