The breakfast was the same everyday with bread, jam, banana and small packet of juice. Bed with no head top and large Noice in the water heater while taking shower.

Good communication from the time of making our booking and even arranged an airport transfer on our arrival. Close to the airport. The view from our balcony was stunning. Loved sitting having our morning coffee on the balcony while watching sunrise over the ocean. Good location to walk to the waterfront, markets, and eateries. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Friendly and courteous staff.

Do not expect luxury, the room is clean, but the furniture and bathroom is old. The bed was squeaking, not very comfortable. I experienced water dripping from my room ceiling after heavy rain (probably the roof needs repair), but it was dropping in the bathroom and next to bed, so no big issue. The cleaning lady put some old towels on the floor when i told her. The breakfast was always the same but i didn't mind (baguette, yogurt, fruit jam, butter, little juice with straw, coffee/tea). All the above is reasonable because of the low price.

Good value for the money. Water heater in the shower, little fridge with freezer in the room, AC, balcony, nice little garden with a pool. The location was great, just a few meters from a bus stop to Blue Bay, 5 minutes by foot from a supermarket and pharmacy (to the left when exiting the stay). 10 minutes by foot to the main bus station (to right when exiting the stay). There is an activities company a few meters from the stay, i didn't use it, but the owner saved my butt and took me with his car to a meeting point of another activities company when my bus was late - a really nice guy :)

Communication prior to my arrival was extremely poor (constructive criticism). The experience of a customer starts before their arrival at the establishment. A lot of stray, or loose dogs on the street ( this is not the doing of the villa) but perhaps they could check with those concerned as it could be dangerous for tourists walking along that road late evening.

Absolutely perfect location! Close to the airport. 10 minutes easy walk along the coast to the bus station/KFC. At the bus terminal you can take a stroll by the sea. On the same path, about 2 mins from the accommodation there's a small shop for basic items like water, and snacks. 5 mins walk to a mini market.... 15 mins walk to Catholic church, and the MCB bank. I loved the sunset that I could enjoy with a nice hit cup of tea on the balcony! Beautiful cozy little place with overall wonderful hospitality. A beautiful garden, with a small pool (I could not enjoy the pool though as the weather was cold :) ).Breakfast was basic but adequate to start the day. Great value for money. I totally recommend Coco Villa!

Only area of improvement would be to slightly increase the breakfast offering.

Mr Sheik is a very kind and helpful host/manager who organised an equally kind and helpful taxi driver. Coco Villa is a well run little place that is very well situated to explore Mahébourg and Blue Bay. He helped me with calls to my bank and kept an additional bag of of luggage for two weeks.

Very nice place for a budget traveling. Breakfast was simple, but enough. There is a small pool outside. I stayed one night only, as it was close to the airport and moved to the north of the island next day. Of course, if you expect a luxury stay - you should chose 4-5 star hotel.

No basic cooking facility. Also it may be possible to modernise the facilities ( although very beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged seating foyers in every landing ).

Location location location... Too good jutting into the sea. Exceptional. Close to airport as well. Staff were helpful & friendly. Nice small swimming pool. Free breakfast 8am to 9 am.

Wi-fi should be available much more widely, not just a few square meters. Parking in the street is not satisfactory. Breakfast should start earlier, by 7 at the latest.
