We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Verified reviewEverything about this spacious, elegant and tranquil resort is large! Dinarobin Beachcomber and its adjacent sister resort Paradis Beachcomber are spread over 5 kms of secluded beachfront; and we could use both - which was fantastic! We booked and were given 2 beautiful sea-facing junior suites, with large balconies. We also had a large semi-private pool, shared with about 10 suites in that block. There are several such pools for each block, so you never feel crowded. There are 7 restaurants between the Dinarobin and Paradis, apart from the buffet restaurants. You need to make dinner reservations before 5pm on the day though, plus there is a dress code for men in the night - trousers + covered shoes. We had an excellent Japanese meal the first night and after-dinner drinks at the sprawling and beautiful main bar with a nice live band playing. We'd driven down from Grand Baie that afternoon, with a tour at the Chamarel Rhumerie enroute and were tired. So this was a perfectly relaxed end to a lovely day. The Dinarobin breakfast buffet is sumptuous and a great way to start the day. Rainy weather made us cancel our dolphin-watching & snorkeling trip the second day, so we enjoyed the hotel spa, indoor sports and relaxed on the beach. That day was my wife's birthday, so we watched the sunset with champagne at the Beach Bar and celebration dinner at the excellent Sea Marlin restaurant in Paradis. The staff were so kind and decorated our table, plus a cake after dinner. We then went over to the Paradis main bar and danced the night away to a lively band there! The next day we did some sightseeing around Le Morne - Chamarel 7-colour earth, waterfalls, etc. despite the rain. Our final dinner was at the wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in Paradis, finishing off with a nightcap back at the Dinarobin bar with a jazz band, to round off our fantastic holiday week in Mauritius!
Steps leading up to the suites can be slippery when wet; maybe put some non-slip tiles over there?

Verified reviewGreat beachfront property, it never gets crowded because the stretch of beach belonging to the resort is so big. Unique location with Le Morne Brabant in the background. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Whether it is late check-outs, breakfast boxes for early leavers, or anything else that is needed, they are quick to provide a solution. Breakfast is excellent, good gym too. We did not try the golf course unfortunately.
Dinner options quite pricy, but not uncommon for a resort like this.

Verified reviewThe beach in front of the property is one of a kind. We would gladly come back to this hotel only to have the chance to experience it once again. And the access to Paradise lagoon on windy days was also great. The boy at the pool, the person operating the glassboat, the shuttle drivers and the cleaning staff were all super nice.
The service itself did not have the romantic vibe we were hoping for. It is massive resort, and most of the time we felt like resort for mass tourism. Many of the staff were pretty grumpy, particularly at reception, and the desk for restaurant and activities bookings. Breakfast at Dinnarobin was messy, not tasty, and most of the staff were completely lost. And it was like that all 4 days we were there. Dinners at Blue Marlin and Dinas were also nothing special.

Verified reviewThe Staff of the Dinarobin Hotel is world class. In particular the concierges team was great and helpful beyond what one could expect (many thanks to Berty, Agen and Pascal). We really liked the food (especially the Blue Merlin restaurant which serves a food that could easily compete with most of the fine dining restaurants in major cities). The place (with LeMorne mountain in the landscape) is spectacular, the beaches are long. We also really enjoyed the SPA yoga classes (by Mohini) and the perks that the hotel offers to newly weds (free lunch, bottle of sparkling wine and a very beautiful hotel room with awsome view). A lot of good night entertainment (singing etc.) was also a plus.

Verified reviewOld facilities, including the room with hairdryer and iron from 20 years ago. Do not expect that in a 5start hotel considering the price that is requested as well. Additionally the quote on the hotel for extending for an extra night was 2x the one from booking but booking was not accepting only 1 night booking and it showed as full even though the hotel was not. I ended up going to a hotel nearby which is significantly better for the same price. Food for dinner at buffet is way too overpriced.

Verified reviewWe loved the services at Dinarobin, especially Berty (very kind and knowledgeable of the local area) and Preetum (always so hospitable and friendly). We went there for our honeymoon and were upgraded to private airport transfers, had complimentary drinks at the Mahogany bar and were offered discount at the spa. Couldn't have dreamt of going anywhere else! The views were phenomenal and we enjoyed the privacy of our Zen suite. We mostly ate at the buffet restaurant and were very excited to go there everyday for our breakfast and dinner (too full to even think of lunch). Will definitely come back again and this time for more than 4 nights!

Property is quite old; needs serious maintenance and upgrades. Few staff are friendly, majority could benefit from more awareness of hospitality and guest relations antiquate (Some are even rude) Room amenities are surely not 5☆ level. Sea shoes are a good point to consider as beach is full of stone. Dinner Restaurant booking needs a better system; one Restaurant was fully booked throughout our 3 nights stay (staff need to give equal chance to other guests; avoid repeated booking) Operating module needs to be reviewed to identify AI guests in a different method. Basic guest greeting is lacking, staff look somewhat angry and upset. Quality and taste of food is an issue. Activities after dinner need to be added; weather conditions mean that guests stay in door more. House keeping service not really organised, they show up when we say do not disturb and don't show up when we say make the room.
