Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the walls between rooms are a bit thin and there was work being done outside in the middle of the night that could be heard all the way up from the 6th floor. i'm sure it will be good after works been done

Unreliable internet with many websites (banks etc) blocked on wifi. Wouldn’t choose the location if not for work. Power sockets in room only worked intermittently.
Big, well-organised and clean rooms. Iron in room and a great wardrobe system is a big plus when working. Nice views. Good sized gym, and nice sauna/hammam area. Very kind and helpful staff.

Air-conditioning thermostat/controls in the rooms were not working properly. Air-conditioning in the lobby area was not working, this should be activated - particularly as there is a sushi restaurant in the area. TV channels not working properly.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is very convenient for business travelers who need to be in the Ebene area.

The restrictive menu ... And the hidden costs
the junior suite was awesome .. And the bath tub was excellent.. There are hidden cost which aren't disclosed when you book for half board The half board has a restrictive and mediocre preset menu. The waiter who served us was not interested in serving a Mauritian couple. whereas a much aged waiter was giving one of the best service to the table adjecent to us... The menu was rely restricted and most of the dishes were out of stock. The drinks are not included in the voucher that is given for the dinner ... the breakfast was excellent... Except for the stale hasbrown and the little ants on the tables... The freshly made Omelettes were delectable.. and the morning staff were very cordial

I forgot my medication in the fridge when I checked out. I called the hotel and the lady didn't seem interested in helping me. She said they will look and get back to me, and to this day they haven't. I had to stay in Mauritius until the 8th of September without taking my medication.

There was no electricity in one socket, and it must be repaired. The internal door locking was broken so I could not lock myself. The restaurants were so expensive and the portions so small. All equipment looks like it was used and needs to be replaced (my door was broken, the tap in the bath, air conditioning did not work and the room smelled musty.
The staff's flexibility lets me keep my room for a few hours more than the normal check-out time. The breakfast was great and my suite room was surprisingly big and well organized.

The hotel is an excellent choice for the business traveler with close proximity to many of the tech and financial companies in Ebene. It is clean, good facilities, very good food and overall friendly staff.

Convenient… had 10 hour layover between flights. So to get a shower and sleep was awesome. 10min to and from airport, quite location.

I have a whole list 1. Room was not clean when i checked in. Had hair from the previous guest in the bathroom. 2. Shower was slow and bath soap dispenser broken 3. Ac in lobby not working 4. Food at breakfast was the worst. Same menu everyday for my 7 days. Beans were canned and cold, flies on the fruits and bread. Horrible experience

Some staff very lazy they looked at you could see you wanted something just walked past I was in the bar area and my drink glass was empty and some staff would just keep walking past without asking would you like another drink

We could not use any facilities due to maintenance. I feel in times of maintenance price per night should be dropped as pool was not available to cool done.
