It's a bit far to walk anywhere, so having a car is handy. It would have been good to have had a shower rail and curtain to keep water off the floor when showering.

Place was well-specced, clean and quiet. It had views of the ocean. Ben, the host, was very pleasant and helpful. It was easy to get to the place and positioned between Le Morne and La Gaulette.

Our TV did not work but that was a small issue as we did not need it.

Proximity to nearby kite surf spots and great golf courses. All amenities needed were on hand, so self-catering was definitely no issue. Our laundry was also done during the stay.

Very less restaurants in the area, but that is nothing to do with the studio. You can cook very nicely in well facilated kitchen.

Internet dropped out couple of hours for few days.

Owners were nice, friendly and helpful. Property was reasonably clean and had reasonably equipped kitchen. All facilities were in working order. Rooms were big and specious with ample of space in cupboards.

The location relative to kite surfing beaches. The boats were responsive and put us in touch with kite surfing instructors.

The apartment is a little bit in the middle of nowhere, although you can get everywhere in a few minutes by car.

We didn't like the fact that there is a door that communicates with another room and because of that you can hear noises from the neighbors.

Very comfy apartment right next to Le Morne. Ben was very nice and I recommend you plan your whale watching with him. He had a great contact and we had a wonderful time. The apartment has a bungalow feeling with a nice garden, spacious kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I would highly recommend this place 😊

You would not want to stay here without a car. And bear in mind that there is no sign marking the place, so it was a little confusing finding it the first time. But this is a minor point--better to notify the owners when you plan to arrive.

The place is very good value and very well located. You have access to the public beach at La Morne and the restaurants and supermarket in La Gaulette all a short drive away. And there is a nice restaurant you can walk to, Zom Kayak. The wifi worked well, and everything was perfectly comfortable.

Mostly it was all good. It would have been nice if he had coffee and tea available, but otherwise it was all fine.

The place was clean. The host was great. We also went to watch dolphins and whales with him (highly recommended!!) and that was a highlight of our stay in Mauritius.

Pingu Studios truly lives up to its reputation, albeit a bit challenging to locate without proper signage. Nevertheless, my experience here was nothing short of delightful! The top-floor apartment boasted enchanting views of the garden, with Le Morne visible from the patio, offering spaciousness, impeccable cleanliness (kudos to the exceptional cleaner!), excellent air conditioning (essential for summer stays), and a serene ambiance. Its proximity to Le Morne beach and a nearby grocery store made it exceptionally convenient. I wholeheartedly endorse this apartment and would eagerly return for another stay.

-There was some problems with the air con at first -No TV, which didn´t meet the description -An iron had to be asked for, it was not in the apartment. There was not an ironing board and we had to iron on top of a bed, which was difficult especially when the power cable of the iron was short -Not too many forks, knives etc.

Beautiful complex of four well-designed apartments. The layout provides good privacy. Lovely verandah looking onto a tropical garden. Just great. A car is necessary is the apartment is a few km from the beach.

Ben is an incredible host. After meeting him we felt really welcome. He provided us with some great information regarding the activities in the area, good food spots, and was always available for help. He took us on a boat trip to swim with Whales & Dolphins, which included snorkeling and breakfast on a boat. The trip turned out to be an incredible experience, worth any penny! The apartment was well-equipped and clean. The area is quiet and surrounded by nature. 3 min with a car to big grocery store, caffees, restaurants, sports stores 5 min with car to amazing Le Morne Beach. Will definitely return.
