The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, and we felt really comfortable during our stay. The room was well-equipped, and we liked it so much that we even stayed here twice!

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. What impressed me most was the genuine kindness of all the staff, and above all the manager, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Their warmth and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. On top of that, the location was perfect, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by the most nicest team of people. Very welcoming and willing to help. They helped us plan our trip to Omadhoo the next morning and told us where we have dinner the night we arrived/breakfast the morning of our departure to Omadhoo. They also upgrated the room we had booked to a tiny apartment without any extra charge. They even said that, on our last day, since we had some spare hours in the city of Male before we caught our flight, we could go to their hotel and leave our bags there and, if needed, we could even shower before we went to the airport. So helpful and kind hearted. Absolutely recommend it!

Great stay for one night before the flight home. We got an appartment instead of a triple room, very clean, new, great location next to the shops, bus station. 10 min drive to the airport with a taxi.

Perfect for a last night if you have a flight in the early morning. The owner is a very nice person, he gave us lots of information and he drove us around the city explaining a bit about his island. The beach (no bikini) is close if you want to go for a walk and there is a kindergarden about 5/10 minutes walking.

It was close to everything, the shops are just few steps from the property, the kids would always ask for cash so they can shop. Not so favourable for me lol

All the staff are very flexible and helpful, our family had to change travel plans last minute. I have contacted arend 20 hotels already and this is the only one that helps us with every process, what to do and when. They helped with the immigration form etc, allowed us to check in directly from the airport at 5am which no other hotels would. The owner went and beyond to make sure my kids are not bored. We have travelled around the world and honestly not much hotels would do what they have done here to make our travel easier with the kids. I would highly recommend and definitely will be coming here. Walking distance from the beach also.

Reasonable noise as it’s in city centre

Stayed here 3 times in one month during our stopovers between islands. Irufan and Jamir are kind and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room. Comfy bed, hot shower and working WiFi. They allowed the use of kitchen which is nice to just cut some fresh fruits from the store nearby. Location is perfect - short distance from airport/ferry, port for scuba diving and eateries and grocers. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Absolutely everything, rooms, staff, location. Irufan is an amazing person. He went above and beyond to help us. He is so kind, friendly and a great person. We will most definitely stay there again if we go back to the Maldives and highly recommend Reef Guest House.

The host and the helpers are super committed and helpful. The location is super convenient with access to public buses and taxis all the time.

I arrived late in Male and stayed here for just one night before leaving to an island. I was offered a pickup from the airport for a price, and the driver was very helpful. He informed me about nearby restaurants and shops in case I needed it. The room was clean. As I only stayed for 1 night and left early, I don’t know enough about the area or the personell to comment.

Everything is perfect!

The location is perfect – close to various restaurants, supermarkets, and the harbor, which was very convenient for diving trips. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. They picked me up from airport, which was a relief due to the heavy luggage and the hot weather. The owner went above and beyond by helping me with currency exchange and even taking me to a specific shop I wanted to visit in Malé. He also gave me a lovely tour of the city from a local perspective, which I really appreciated. As a diver, I was also very happy to be able to dry my equipment on their balcony – super practical! Highly recommend this place for both comfort and local hospitality.
