Paid internet, also variable rates every day that at the end even if you have a contracted rate bkse the charge in dollars and the hotel converts to pesos and then again to dollars but the hotel sets an arbitrary exchange rate for the dollar, at the end you pay about 7% over contracted price.

That you feel free and not a guard following you; great service of the waiters of Bistro

surprises!, Like charging for everything .. and prices are never fixed, rates fluctuate every day...

Really? small parking area, an uncomfortable furniture at the restaurant -Bistro-, have to pay for WiFi - like in the 80s-, very noise parties during weekend, high exchange rate, ahhh so if you forgot a toothbrush or other toiletry they charge you for....

Inot worth for the price they charge. We stayed at 5 hotels in Mexico. This one was the priciest and also the only hotel to charge us for the room coffe and tea. Internet was not included and there was a lot of innecesary push from the receptionist to “upgrade” our room. Also they wanted to charge of twice for the room. We had to ask them to call booking to confirm it was already paid for.

    The bed was really comfortable

The unexpected, and sometimes unexplained extras. Charging extra, for WiFi these days is pretty poor practice, when I can get good free internet from many much cheaper places. Breakfast is extra, and for the price you get a pretty basic 'continental' breakfast. Nobody told me the cooked dishes available were at additional cost, which again seems a bit stingy. The location is unattractive, with nothing for the traveller within walking distance - yet the hotel claims to be a local hotel for Coyoacan and San Angel. It isn't.

Room was comfortable with a great view. Nights were very quiet, so good sleep.

The vallet is never where they are supposed to be. They charged me an overwhelming exchange rate (the official rate was around 17 Mexican pesos for dollar and they charged me around 19 Mexican pesos for dollar).

Rooms are nice. Beds are very comfortable.

If you book through booking you have to pay for wifi. It's not expensive though. There was some noise during my last night at the hotel. But it wasn't too annoying or I was just too tired and slept over.. if you plan to visit downtown it's far.. and traffic is insane in the city .. I had a conference at ITAM which is walking distance.

Staff is always kind, friendly and would do everything to fix whatever problem you have. Room service is very quick! The view from my hotel room was beautiful .

No Wi-Fi included in the very high rate. Too expensive and poor quality of breakfast. Very expensive water bottles. No courtesy bottle as in most hotels. No courtesy coffee in hab. Extremely expensive of very poor quality coffee. Location is terrible. It is appropriate for hospital patients. This is the worst Camino Real hotel I have stayed in my life. I never will recommend this hotel.

Something Camino Real could offer are simple wellness facilities, on top of a gym. Basic services such as a whirlpool, steam and Finnish sauna make a huge difference for a business traveller.

Friendly and helpful staff, what else can anyone expect from Camino Real in Mexico? A conveniently located hotel in the south of Mexico City, ideal if you travel for business.

Bad service. I arrived at 9am, and eventhough they had available rooms, they told me they will only give me the room by check in time which was 15:30. This hotel offers a prestigious brand for accommodation in Mexico, apparently at a reasonable rate. However, the devil's in the details! You will have to pay for parking, wi fi, even for drinking water! Restaurants and room service are awfully expensive too. In the end, you will end up paying much more than expected. This is probably why they have a non-cancellation policy in place?
