Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaFood was a basically holiday inn quality. The adult pool has no shade other than the cabanas which sit empty - they upcharge for that space. Too bad as we were uncomfortable much of the time. The family pool played loud music and was not our speed with all the kids running and playing. They are dead serious about dress code. For men long pants and closed toe shoes. As we'd been travelling my husband didn't have closed toed shoes. It was a problem. Surprising that they made a big stink - he dressed appropriately otherwise and was still shamed and turned away from dinner. Not cool. They also build in their time share service model into the check in procedure. You can't avoid it. You can say no thank you to the presentation but they will ask you everyday again and again as you walk the main hall to breakfast. Also not cool. We wouldn't choose it again.
It's a clean and newish hotel and the service was great.

AustraliaVery limited shaded areas in the adult pool area unless you paid 200usd per day for a cabana. They need some more umbrellas in that area as everyone was getting very sunburned.
Room was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff were all lovely and friendly, the bartenders were great especially at the pool bars. Gregorio at the El Jardin snack bar was an incredible server!

AustriaThe biggest downside of the hotel was the issue with guests "reserving" sun beds. Already at 8am one couldn't find a spot. But I experienced this problem in most of hotels. Basic rooms could be improved by adding things like slippers and bathrobes. The food was acceptable, but much could be improved especially in the a la cart restaurants.
The location was amazing. You can easily walk to the center of the Hotel Zone. The beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I ever visited. The hotel was super clean. We loved the adults only pool area, the beach bar offered a great selection of drinks. We stayed in a Deluxe room and it was older but well maintained and very comfortable. Food was okay, not bad but not great either.

United States of AmericaWe could not see the beach. Room #1001 high fence, in our face. The beds were horrible, I had to sleep on the sofa. All the mattress were hard, it was miserable in the middle of the night. A/C didn’t work well. TV didn’t work well. Some TV stations had no sound.
Property was landscaped nice. Crazy access to pools & beach

United KingdomThe food for the most part is where the resort lets itself down in my opinion. We opted for a couple of a la carte options for two evenings as we don’t much care for buffet options at an all inclusive. However the quality of the meal in the Asian restaurant was subpar, the portions were tiny and all in all lacked a lot of flavour and the same can be said for the Mexican restaurant the next evening. It was then we decided that we would go elsewhere in Cancun for dinner the rest of the trip. Also I didn’t understand why men were not allowed to wear open toed footwear at dinner but women were. I was dismissed from the Mexican restaurant to change my footwear as I was wearing smart sanders for dinner yet another woman in the restaurant was wearing flip flops and was allowed due to the gender bias of that rule. I think in this day and age those kind of dress codes are very out dated especially when the quality of food that is dished out definitely does not go hand in hand with their strict dress code. The worst experience however was the room service breakfast we did one morning. We had ordered some scrambled eggs and avocado on toast and it taken well over an hour to arrive which could have been forgiven. However what arrived was even worse the avocado on toast was the size of a piece of bruschetta with a spoonful of avocado it was very tiny compared to what was pictured and the scrambled eggs where very crumbly and dry and overdone absolutely not at the standard of any hotel or restaurant.
Staff were very friendly from arrival, stayed in the Royal Tower Suite so had a designated check in area which had a small buffet lunch while we waited to check in which was very nice. From check in we had a butler service who was able to make reservations, bookings, order room service and other requests we needed. The room was so nice and clean and the view of the ocean was amazing from the room, the mini bar was full and replenished daily, all in all had no complaints about the room, it was clean, very comfortable with sublime views. The cabanas for tower suite guests was a very nice touch and had one of these booked daily and was just such a nice weight of our shoulders not having to having to rush for a lounger. It was amazing to have a cabana so close to the beach and the views and weather was stunning and there was food and drink service provided at the cabanas also. The snack bar at the pool was great, the burgers and hot dogs were very nice with loads of condiment and salad options as well, nachos were also very good. We really enjoyed also the cafe inside the resort for pastries and ice cream at anytime of the day.

BrazilI didn't like the fact in some restaurants and areas of the hotel children were not allowed. We stayed in a 'family' room, but my son (6) could enter some of the restaurants just until 6:30pm, which is too early for dinner to me. The system they have for booking restaurants is bureaucratic. Also, men can't be wearing bermudas or shorts in some restaurants for dinner, which is weird in a hotel by the beach.
Room size and balcony view was awesome. In front of the beach, and a nice, large and clean room. Beds were comfortable.
