I can't think of anything that would make this place better that the owner hasn't already thought of.

This is the best place I have stayed of all the places I visited during my one month stay in Mexico.

Outstanding accomodation hosted by Rahina who was so helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfy, bathroom lovely plus air conditioning and fan and all spotlessly clean. We had full use of a kitchen and drinking water provided. Nice outdoor seating area. There are a few little shops nearby and some family run restaurants. It is an uphill walk from the main road, but definitly worth it. Our favorite place we have stayed in Mexico.

Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds and great bathroom. The owner is very kind and helpful. The place is a bit up the hill but she can help you with good priced scooter. Some nice restaurants and shops down the road. We also met some really cool people and had some nice evenings. Hopefully we come again one day!

As other reviews say, the accommodation is up the top of a very big hill, but very accessible with collectivos and taxis.

The rooms were good sized, and importantly had aircon, and ceiling fans. I enjoyed the access to a well-stocked kitchen. Also our host was incredible, she had great food recommendations and helped us sort out taxis and collectivos.

The staff are fantastic. Regina is exceptionally helpful and will go out of her way to assist you. We left some items in Mexico City and Regina assisted in getting them sent to us. The property is always clean, coffee available every morning and water always available. The layout was great, easy and safe access and lovely outdoor garden area.

Excellent house in a quiet little neighborhood up the hill from the beach. The host is a very caring and attentive person, and the cleaning people are as well. The cleaners are there everyday making sure the house is spotless. The air conditioning really helps on the hots days and nights, I was grateful to have it.

It was fine for us, but be prepared to walk uphill or take a taxi back from the beach.

The house was very beautiful, green and quiet. The householder was very nice and friendly she helped us a lot, to find a taxi with reasonable price, recommendation for renting a motorcycle and nice places with delicious food. We loved the place if we go back we will definitely go back to the place😊

Its kind of far away from the hotspots, like la punta, zicatella and centro. Its up a steep hill. Regina helped us with a scooter rental which was a game changer. With the scooter the hill is painfree and everything is just 10 minutes away. Hot water is limited (solar powered), we often came back late to find all the hot water had been used.

Great value, low price, clean, good room with a/c. Communal kitchen has everything you need. Regina was an amazing host.

It eas perfect. From the host, who made every effeort to make me welcome and help in any way she could to the cleanliness of the place. It was spotless and shining. A great bonus was the air condition which was a blessing.

Our stay at Casa Lomas del Marinero was incredible! The hosts were wonderfully attentive, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved enjoying meals at the outdoor table. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

The hill was very steep for my back injury. I had to use a taxi when going back from the beach.

The host was a wonderful lady. She was also very helpful. My room was big and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. The garden area was a beautiful spot to eat. Walking down the hill to the beach was a great way to see how the locals live. Everyone was so friendly.

The hill to the accommodation was a lot steeper than we expected. Would not recommend for people with mobility issues.

The room was very nice, airy with opening windows and fly screens. There is aircon, though we didn't use it because the ceiling fan is excellent. The bathroom had hot water and good water pressure. The kitchen is very good, large fridge, toaster and gas rings, all the pots, pans cutlery etc. Excellent WiFi. The owner is lovely and very helpful.

There was a lot of condensation in the room but this was as a result of hurricane John so probably a temporary problem.

Owner was excellent, very kind and helpful, answered questions promptly etc. Diane at the property also very nice. As others noted, there is a hilly walk up to the property but not too bad (I’m 62 with a bad knee). If asking the way, ask for Farmacia San Francisco in Lomas and the property is 2 doors to the right, brown gate. Room has both aircon & fan, the fan was sufficient for us.

It was a little difficult initially to find, but as you go up the steep hill, it s the 2nd turning on the right, next to the pharmacy.

A nice, quiet room with both a/c and fan. The bed was very comfy and kitchen was well equipped. It's approx 10 to 15 mins walk to Zicatela beach. It s located in a residential area, so there are no restaurants or bars nearby. You can walk to the Centre in about 30 mins or get a colectivo on the main road. Would definitely stay again.

It's a little removed, but the host recommended a very reasonable guy who rents scooters, and that was a game changer.

despite a language barrier, the staff treated us like family. the kitchen was good and clean, our room was nice with a hammock and aircon. the property is up a steep hill but the lovely ladies who ran the place gave us the number of a scooter rental which was quite reasonable.

Location was a bit out of the way and up a steep hill, but still manageable with taxis and colectivos. The barking dogs next door (they would start to bark at 4am for hours straight at nothing…) was the main issue for us, however the staff very kindly found us some earplugs which helped - they also gave us a warning about the dogs before we booked so there’s no fault with the staff as you can’t do much about this. Mainly affects one or two of the rooms as the others seem further away from the noise.

Amazing staff, so attentive and helpful. Loaned us a few things we needed and also organised us a taxi to the bus station very early in the morning. Very comfortable room and AC + fan was nice (and rare for Mexico!).
