The price does not match what was paid for. However, it was the only room available during day of the dead that did not cost $3,000 for 4 night. However, price paid was steep. The shower did not have sufficient water to shower. Sounds gross, but thankfully my hair help up till the next hotel. I did not dare to attempt to wash my hair as I do not believe the water would had even soaked it, less rinse any shampoo.

The property was clean and well maintained. Host is responsive and away from all the noice of the town.

The fan in the room wasn't enough. The rooms get really stuffy and basically turn into an oven throughout the evening. Doors and windows have to be kept open, and you'll still be sweating with the fan on full.

Location good, quite clean. Really nice terrace to chill on in the evenings. Cool graffiti art. Kitchen basic but clean and more than enough to cook a quick meal. Bluetooth speaker to listen to music on the balcony. Quiet.

I booked a double room and was given a dorm room. I was on the ground floor and the bathrooms had no windows. The bathroom also had a door which lead to outside with a massive hole in it. The staff were very unhelpful with not responding to my messages or answering my calls. Great location, but other than that there are a lot nicer places to stay.

The location is not the best part of town but it’s close to the centre and probably the reason why the rooms are so affordable

Im confused about the negative reviews, for me this place is perfect, the rooms are big, bright, clean and spacious and it’s a nice touch that they have sofas as they feel more like apartments. The water pressures pretty standard for most places in Mexico and the kitchens well equipped and modern with nice areas to sit.

Pretty much everything else.... I'm sorry to say but the room we stayed in was not cleaned properly. In fact I think there were fleas jumping on the couch and in the bed! The bathroom was so small, the shower was rusty and splashed everywhere. There is no mirror or hangers for towels in the restroom. There is no shampoo other than plain soap. The toilet seat was a real mess. It completely peels off and is very old. There is no heating and it was very cold, so much so that we had to sleep with our jackets. There is no wardrobe with hangers or proper space to store luggages. Just a chest to place a couple of items. We were woken up twice at 4.30am due to a couple having very loud sex with repeated moaning... probably making porn?? (don't get me wrong I'm all for having fun but not while you're trying to rest after 18 hours flight + 8 hours of travel by coach... ) Location is fairly close to the center but in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood especially at night, I wouldn't recommend a woman walking alone at late hour. Check out is at 10am, compared to other places it's quite early. We sent a message to the owner to ask to extend it to 11 am, but he gave us only until 10.30. Overall he was very responsive via text and calls which is always a plus. Overall not bad for the price but I wouldn't stay again.

The inner courtyard of the building complex is very colorful. The wall paintings are nice to look at and the outside area with tables and chairs is spacious and relaxing. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Was ghosted when I asked about toilet paper because there wasn’t any. And there was no soap. What pissed me off the most was in the morning the cleaner told me I couldn’t use the communal bathroom (the only one that had tp and soap) in the morning. Awful staff.

i couldn’t book another hostel for the night and this was the only one that was available. Looking at the reviews I kind of managed my expectation. It was not good, but consider the amount you are paying it’s fair. just look at the rest of the reviews, but i would like to highlight the shower! - the shower WAS THE WORST. the water pressure was so bad that I couldn’t barely take a shower. i had to literally take a bowl to get water for my shower, bowl by bowl. and i took 5 times more the time i need for a SHOWER! and during the stay i had to go to hair salon every day to wash my hair because if i used that shower to wash my hair it would take FOREVER and i’m not even kidding. i would say with the amount you are paying - it’s kinda of fair? but yea, if you have a choice and and spend a little more, definitely somewhere else.

Place is misleading in almost every possible way! Pictures of rooms don’t look at all like the actual rooms. I later found out this place also rents rooms by hours? Why does that doesn’t sound good. Moreover, the toilet is part of the shower floor so when you shower all toilet and surroundings floor areas get soaked and if you go use the restroom you have to take shoes because that floor remains wet. Also, the guy in charge of the property isn’t there physically, he sends a lady from time to time to clean rooms. Beds might have bed bugs, we are praying that it’s not that. Also NO shampoo, conditioner or soap is provided by hotel!! How crazy is that? Avoid this place if you can research alternatives a little far from this location.

It’s close to downtown plaza, however, the hotel is on the bad side of downtown, I mean the bad side, trash, graffiti, “ladies of the night”, plenty of local barber shops and local cantinas.
