The walls were very thin so we could hear everything, they played music early in the morning (around 6/6.30am) which woke me up.

Great location, central yet peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff who let us leave our bags before the check in. Spacious room with clean bathroom. Beautiful building, and nice little restaurant attached for a beer or a bite. Perfect to spend one night in Puebla!

I had a terrible experience with Booking.com which involved fraudulent emails and messages within the Booking platform and resulted in the theft of my credit card data. Booking repeatedly said they 'had my back' and would contact me but they never did.

Due to the open plan the Hotel was very noisy at times. TV didn’t work and mentioned this to the staff but nothing was done about it.

Location is absolutely perfect! Two minutes from the Zocalo. Room is a great size, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were all great even though I barely speak any Spanish. This is a fantastic little hotel, especially for the price.

The location is great near to most of the attractions, eateries and convenience stores in town. The room, sheets and towels are clean. We had a comfortable stay in the hotel.

There was only one small window in the bathroom which was odd for us, but we were comfortable with the air conditioning.

1. The payment must be paid in advance else they cancel the room! booking.com must deal with this nonsense. {It did not worry me as I reached by 11 AM, but what if one were to reach at, say 7 PM? They cancel the reservation. 2. In case the payment must be made in advance, why not collect it through booking.com ? I would have been OK with it. They wanted online transfer, which for a foreigner like me was not possible. 3. The check-in lady tried to charge me extra. The amount to be paid was Pesos 436.xx but she said it is 463.xx When questioned, she said, "Taxes", I said, I know the amount including taxes and showed her the calculations on my mobile phone. [367.20 x 1.19= 436.97], she said, "The same thing!" I pointed out that she had entered 463.97 on the swipe machine. She apologized and said it was a casual error. But I wondered if that really was the case! Whether they do this intentionally? I am a Mathematics & Economics pro and can spot such errors in an instant, but what about other gullible folks? 4. The property did not respond to me with a WhatsApp message giving location. In fact their numbers are 'ONLY landline' I asked them to share location to my WA # when I made the booking, yet they responded only by email. All the above were minor things and I will stay here again! But be careful

This was a steal deal for me! I got a very large, excellent room for only 23 US$ The location was absolutely central. The facilities at the hotel were great! The room was large and the entire property was absolutely clean! The temperature of the hot showers was ideal & water pressure enormous. I showered thrice in a day as the shower was a pleasure indeed! Wifi was strong & wardrobe, writing table, extra bed for keeping my bags etc were just too good! I will stay here again and again and again!

The track in my shower had a weird sludge in it which grossed me out.

The staff was nice and the rooms were comfortable with AC. And it was nice to get a really hot shower. I’ve had issues with both at other hotels in the same area.Don’t expect a huge room though!

Beds were not so comfortable (too soft). Old showerhead was old and as a result water were splashing everywhere.

We ended up in a room without a window that was stuffy and hot. I get we were unlucky, but it is not clear in the listing that some rooms are windowless. There was a blind covering...a bricked in window. Pointless, and I think misleading advertising.

The hotel room was very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful.
