First, wasn't aware they wanted cash only for payment. Had to walk a few blocks to an ATM. That was disconcerting. There is NO soundproofing. You hear every cough, every toilet flush, every time the ventilation fans in bathroom come on. Staff indifferent to our presence. Didn't acknowledge us when we entered or left the building. Not really a complaint but if you need a lot of assistance, no staff members speak English do you are on your own here

Location in Centro Historic provided great access to attractions, restaurants, shops and entertainment. Hot water as plentiful in shower but none n bathroom sink.

Breakfast and dinner was not possible in the hotel, in house restauant opens too late and closes too early, but there were many options in the streets close to the hotel.

The hotel has perfect location, close to Zocalo, close to Metro station, close to the walking zone, Restaurant and pub just in front of the hotel. Wi-fi works without outages

There was nothing overly wrong with the hotel, just generally a bit shabby and old but nothing bad enough to avoid this hotel

A nice enough place, nothing outstanding, but for price, in an old city I would definitely recommend this hotel mainly due to location, its right in the historical old town and near a large metro station

THERE'S A REASON WHY NO OTHER HOTEL WEBSITE CARRIES THEM!!!

Right from the start the front desk lady had an awful attitude. We booked our stay with a credit card assuming it was going to be paid off with it. But instead the lady told us it was a cash only facility. We did not bring that kind of cash with us. We think your website should be VERY CLEAR is a cash only operation. When we walked in the room it was nothing like the pics on line: Tiny room with a desk and two beds, no dresser/vanity, small cabinet like closet, a tiny TV with no remote, a lamp and very old and dusty alarm clock with nowhere to plug them in. The bathroom was small as well, the glass shelf in it was very dusty, there was no HOT WATER!!! At night time we noticed there was not even a little noise in the place it was like the twilight zone but then we noticed it was because there was no guests in the hotel. The next morning we were waiting for somebody to pick us up so I received a text from that person saying that the front desk lady been calling the room but the phone never rang. I lift the phone and when I noticed there wasn't even a ringtone I realized the phone didn't even had a cord. REALLY???? By then we already knew we didn't want to spend one more night in that place, we have a little daughter and it wasn't safe for her. We called booking.com to adjust our staying for only one night. We again got a worse attitude from the same front desk lady and she acted like she didn't care. She said that we were going to be charged for the entire seven days on my credit card. What made me question her how if they were a cash only place. Thanks for booking.com that could adjust our stay at no extra cost. We are very easy going people but we couldn't deal with this mess. Rude staff, if you wanted to get breakfast you had to do it outside the hotel because after 9:00 am when we were downstairs in the front desk dealing with us checking out the restaurant was still closed.

There was not one thing we liked about this place. It was a nightmare!!!

Dont be fooled by free wifi. They will give you a password to connect but it will do you no good as the password is incorrect and the person on the front desk pretends no to understand you if you ask her about it. Dont stay at this hotel if you cant leave without a wifi

I thought it could have been a little bit cleaner for the money. Also, as mentioned by previous reviewers the showers are pretty annoying. It's quit hard to get a decent flow going but I've experienced that in other places in Mexico. Got a couple of mosquitos in at night too - there was a rather large gap under my door. Also would help if they kept maps of the city to give to hotel patrons on arrival. I've stayed in better hotels in DF

Good location, bed was comfy, staff are friendly enough and it's nice and quiet at night and in the morning. Free to air tv was good.
