Be sure if you plan to stay Thursday through the weekend that you are prepared for the loud music and celebrations that can go on well into early morning hours.

This is a Lovely Hotel located right on 5th Avenue close walking distance to Beach restaurants bars and nightlife. The staff is super friendly and was very helpful when I ran into a few issues with the local banking business nature of my stay.

Coffee was not good, music from clubs around hotel is rather loud didn't bother us, but it might of one is sensitive.

The location is on 5th Avenue, which is much busier with more nightlife than we expected. If you’re looking to go to senor frogs, it’s perfect, if you don’t want to hear senor frogs, pack strong earplugs. No fault of the staff or hotel, just the reality of the location.

Everything about the place is incredible and very tastefully done, feels intimate and not overdone. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Breakfast was very poor. They only offer a continental breakfast where there is only tea or coffee and some cookies. The price should include at least a fruit salad and a bread with ham and cheese.

The place is very beautiful! I loved its style, the patio and the decoration, typical of the place. The colors are very consistent with the art of Frida Khalo. The place also has a location very close to the beach, restaurants and all the nightlife. From the balcony you can see the streets that make you party with the people.

If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or headphones because it’s right across the street from Señor Frogs & the music travels through the courtyard. I didn’t mind it though.

It’s right in 5th in the middle of everything! It’s the perfect spot to explore Playa del Carmen

A Eden like sanctuary from the energy of 5th Ave. Everything you need is easily walking range. Even the ferry to Cozumel is a quick walk.

We were absolutely delighted with the accommodations at Hotel Lunata. What a lovely spot. It was wonderful to sit on the deck overlooking the garden. It’s hard to believe we were on 5th Ave., very peaceful and beautiful. The only drawback was that Carnival was going on so it was a little loud but there’s absolutely nothing the hotel can do about that. Check in and check out were flawless and the staff were very accommodating. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and relatives.

The street where is located its noisy but for us was not a problem. We slept well and I think the parties finish at 3-4 at night so is not noisy until morning.

The hotel looks very very good. The garden is great to enjoy, with a coffee in the morning, sun, the trees. We loved it! The hotel is near to the Buss station so we went by walk with 2 big luggages. Staff is very friendly they suggested us restaurants by the beach with tasty food.

It is right on the main street and noise bleeds into the rooms. Not terrible but noticeable. Also while the temperature was great the water pressure was pretty weak. Lastly wasn’t an issue for me personally but i didnt see an elevator so you do need to walk up a few stairs. All issues were minimal compared to the quality of the room in my opinion

Really nice and large room. Comfortable bed, nice patio, great location and pretty building. if you are using the hotel mainly as a place to lay your head and don’t need all the extra amenities like a pool and restaurant you couldn’t do much better for the price

The grounds were magical. It felt like your were in a tropical oasis right in the heart of a busy location. Rooms were quiet and each one had a balcony to enjoy. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The noise was a bit loud, but something you cannot avoid if you are staying in the middle of the 5th avenue (they had double layered windows in the balcony, but you could still hear the noise from the street)

The staff was amazing, they gave us great recommendations and advice and they were so friendly! The hotel was really cozy and lovely, the rooms were great, good size, clean and kind of charming. Definitely a plus that they offered a complimentary basic breakfast and had a cold and hot water dispenser The fridge in the room was a great thing to have for sure

This is a boutique hotel, so there is no restaurant in the hotel. But as the hotel is on 5th Ave, one doesn’t need one.

The property was beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive. The rooms were clean and very beautiful. The staff at the reception were very kind to cater to our needs and also provided local recommendations on beach and food. Also the hotel provided fresh beach towels, everyday. Despite being located at the 5th Avenue, they have soundproofed the windows, so that the noise from the streets are dampened

The noise from the avenue was very loud at night, but we know there is nothing the hotel can do about this. Just an unfortunate aspect to being so centrally located.

Can't really find much to complain about. They offer a continental breakfast that isn't much to an American palate, but we weren't expecting that in the accommodation anyways. They were doing some construction on another room at the time we were there, but it was only during daytime hours when we were mostly gone and they did a good job keeping the mess and noise of that to a minimum.

Really can't say enough good things about this place. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was more than helpful. Michelle particularly offered so much in her recommendations. It seems she could read our moods particularly as to what we wanted to eat. The accommodations were clean and visually appealing. Location was great for walkability to everywhere we wanted to go, including the beach, scuba, local restaurants with good prices, and of course the shopping avenue.
