Wifi/internet connection was in and out making it hard to conduct business I had to do.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the ferry port and located at the center of the town. Despite being centrally located it wasn't noisy at night. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable plus there's free purified water. Our daughter really like the many turtles around the patio. The staff were kind and very helpful with all our queries about the activities around the island. They gave complimentary entrance ticket to San Francisco Beach Club. All in all a great place for families. 🥰

TV remote controls don't work very well and the windows fit is very slow.

The rooms for one person are kind of small. I felt a little bit confined. Other than that. It’s OK. It’s an old place. Location is the great asset they have.

Lovely little place, we stayed in the studio with private entrance, all windows and doors well secure, felt really safe. Breakfast was simple but still nice, and the turtles are really cute. Very central.

I was disappointed by one shower over the course of several nights that was quite cold. The open rooftop space was no longer open to guests unfortunately.

The turtles are adorable! You can't beat the location and we had restful sleep- it was great!

I loved everything!

What didn’t we like? First of all the location was incredible. Right in the heart of the city center. Anything you needed was a 2 minute walk, including the waterfront. The hotel was beautifully furnished. Stunning paint colors on all the walls with vintage tchotchkes throughout. The decor was fantastic. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a shared kitchen space which came in handy and TURTLES! They were so cute and sweet! I shared a mango with them in the morning and it was definitely a highlight of the trip!

I had pigeons outside my window eating my head off every day at 4am. I tell them the guy at the reception about it after my first night (out of 3) but I guess they couldn’t find the time to figure it out (or offer me a different room).

Always love this place! We've stayed here many times for a quick weekend in Cozumel and it's the best value hotel we know of in Cozumel. Also, the kids love the turtles :)

The doors can stick a bit as they are wood and the climate is humid. My room was near some sort of machine that kicked off and on, but it wasn't too loud and didn't bother me after the first night.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The patio and the turtles were amazing and unique. The decor and colors are beautiful. It is a joy to walk though the hotel. The room was nice and big. Excellent water pressure. Nice central location. It's a quick walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, the ocean, and a cab stand.

I don't think there was anything we didn't like. The Mary Carmen is a great, small hotel.

We just stayed one night at the end of a two week stay on Cozumel. We moved here to be closer to the ferry terminal. Many years ago, we spent a month at Mary Carmen. We were happy to see the turtles were still there. The room was clean and comfortable, well supplied. There is a kitchen and fridge available for guests to use. We were able to store our luggage until it was time for us to catch the ferry.

Nice, quiet, close. This makes our first night in town affordable, enjoyable, and comfortable. Good bed in our unit. No fridge in room but a common kitchen for the need. Breakfast is available for a realistic cost.

We were given a room near the reception on the ground floor so it was quite noisy at night when guests arrived late and early morning when people were leaving early, but other than that we absolutely loved it!

The location is great, close to everything yet quiet at night. The beds were super comfortable and clean, everything is pretty and the staff was very friendly.

Would have been nice with a pool since most beaches are at least a 10 minute drive from the hotel. Also, we had the studio room and you could hear all the noise from the street and from the neighboring terrace.
