Great, social hostel. Lovely room with lots of space and nice design. The stairs up to the accomodation with bags is something to be aware of. Nice bar area.

The only thing that did not bother us but should be pointed out is A) there is a lot of noise naturally as it is in a very busy part of Cabo B) stairs to get up and down out of the hotel in case of mobility issues. Just to be aware for your travels

Absolutely amazing place located right on the port. Everyday we had a lovely fresh breakfast and had drinks by the pool throughout the day. Staff are incredibly friendly. Everyday there are different activities like karaoke, painting and beer pong. The room was kept super clean by the housekeeping staff.

There was often loud music late at night that kept me up. Two employees were somewhat hostile towards me, but I didn't let it get to me.

The breakfast each morning was great, it was reasonably social, they had good spaces for reading and decompressing, and the location is just phenomenal. Most of the employees were extremely helpful.

I like the office staff they are nice and friendly and the lounge staff are nice, but need to be more conscientious when a guess has not be greeted and helped for too long ofva period.

When we first arrived, the noise and activity from below was insane. It was like Mexican Vegas with loud, drunk people everywhere. By 6pm though, gone...cruise ships must pack up by then so the huge influx of people leave. It is still busy, but not crazy. The party is about a block away...but there is no need for earplugs from 6pm-10am. Whew! The bars and restaurants in the area were pricy but its the tourist area and expected Being right on the marina, there are vendors EVERYWHERE. You cannot take three steps before the next one hits you up no matter what time of day Our TV had steaming, but would only play Mexican telanovellas...much drama was going on. No parking, but it is close. Knowing where it was before arrival would have been nice.There are nearby parking lots. They only take pesos.

We only stayed one night and had never been to Cabo so we did choose this area on purpose to get the most bang for our buck. The location, once you adjust to the initial shock of the crowd and noise (again, it disappears at 6pm) was perfect right on the marina above a retail area close to everything. The staff was wonderful and multilingual. Rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, tastefully decorated. Pool area was nice with ample seating. Fun activities to engage guests. The club also has a great happy hour in the morning and again after 7.You cannot really hear the street noise from here. Excellent price and options for rooms.

Nothing - this place was great

Great location, friendly staff and clean environment. Beds have curtains for privacy and lockable lockers for your personal items (bring your own lock or purchase at the front desk). Hot water and good water pressure. Food is good and the view from the pool is beautiful.

The lounge area could beef up on there serving. I felt ignored and saw that only certain guess or could be staff friends were treated with priority. Number of times I sat there like forever not once the server looked my way. On my first evening there I sat waited and waited then thinking oh maybe I have to go to the counter and I did. Later seeing others served at there table. What was odd was when I wanted order food one evening the kitchen was closed which closed at 10. That I understand, but another night I saw the server delivering food to folks way past 10pm and close to 11pm. Seeing that like well I'd prefer to eat elsewhere. I think the lounge area is a loss for me and maybe other see that not sure just letting you know. Servers should know to look at all table or wherever people might be sitting. So for the price for just sleeping the night still good To add one other thing. Signs are needed as no Bluetooth speaker to on. It's happened several times individuals just walking in the room with there speaker volume up high.

Affordability, spacious, location, front desk personal and the fact there are lockers to secure your thing all of these made the difference.

Didn’t love the glass door in the bathroom even with it being frosted right next to the sink .

Not a social hostel. Although the hostel tries to arrange activities, the clients and vibe is not good to meet people and mingle

Facilities are great, clean dorms, hot showers with good pressure, a nice bar area and shared kitchen. Right by the marina so easy access to restaurants, dive centers etc.

It was very loud at the marina from 10am-6pm with Señor Frogs blasting music and local merchants. After about 7pm it was dead quite a part from the barking seals! This did not bother us too much but

The perfect location in Cabo. It had a great vibe and was very social. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of social activities to do to meet people and keep entertained. Was walkable to great shops, bars and nightclubs!

Maybe for improvement the kitchen hardware could be changed from time to time, especially adding some cutting knife

I had an amazing time at Mayan monkey. I really recommend this hostel. The rooms are pretty big, the pool area is super nice, it has a great location. Everyone is super friendly so I would recommend going there if you are a solo traveler. The staff is very kind, a special thanks to Daniela who has been so helpful and nice.
