The hotel and room itself is very rundown. The bathroom looked very old and the more detailed cleaning was not kept up with. For example, the faucets had buildup on them, as if that is not looked at by the cleaning personnel. The walls are dirty. Our room had a bee problem. I have no idea how they came inside but we found a total of 6-8 bees, one of which somehow got on my bed.

The location is great, close to everything.

The lobby seemed to gloomy. It would be nice if they had more light and cozy furniture in their atrium area.

We enjoyed our stay because it was close to all the events and places I wanted to visit, such as book stores, town plaza, museums, and la procesión de las Animas during Día de los muertos. Donaldo and Beyamin went out of their way to help us with our traveling planes.

The water supply. Water was sporadic. The hot water... wasn't. I wouldn't even call it lukewarm. On my departure day, after having soaped up, the water simply stopped... not a drop for 10 - 15 minutes. Also, there is a terrible odor from the drains, both the sink and the shower; they had to be completely covered up.

It would have been nice to have had in-room refrigeration for my snacks, etc. Also, it would have been nice to have had a safe in the room to store my passport and other valuables when I left. Of course, I never had reason to question the honesty or integrity of those working in the hotel.

All the facilities were comfortable and suitable to their intended use. The location could not have been better in Centro. Room was spacious and comfortable. AC was great and the availability of hot water in a tropical climate was an added bonus.

The rooms were small. One room had no windows. Directions for parking (which is on a different street) were not very clear.

The hotel is on the main street. It is within walking distance from the main square, restaurants, and shops.

I didn't like the hairdryer. It only worked on the lowest speed, which barely dried my hair, and the device was locked to prevent increasing the airspeed.

The room was clean but we had to ask for a lamp, only had overhead lighting. The shower was clean but the bathroom floor got wet, maybe a shower curtain would've have helped.

The staff were wonderful, very polite, very helpful, and accomodate any requests we had. The room and facilities were very clean! The Márago Café is wonderful, great food, super tasty and well done.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Mérida and was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Zócalo and the main square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and included arranging taxi services for us. Overall, this hotel offers a prime location and attentive service, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Mérida.

The towels etc were quite old and you had to keep asking for them as they didn't provide enough. The rooms were slightly dated but very clean and comfortable.

Room a bit small compared to newer modern 4* hotels but it is in a nice old historic building. Room was still perfectly comfortable for one but might seem a little bit cozy for two, if you are used to big hotel rooms.

Nice hotel in lovely old house. Great location in Calle 60 in the centre of Merida. Wifi and air con in room worked well. There was some work going on but it was generally quiet. Comfy beds.

Some rooms had a fridge, but ours did not. They said we could change, but it was not important enough to bother. I wish they had information on the Maya Train departure times.

We could have spent our valuable vacation time, asking around town about the cenote tour, but instead just bought it from the front desk, and enjoyed it immensely. The room was HUGE and the pool was good too.

My two kids (7 and 9 years old) and i had a room with queen beds. The queen bed is narrow enough and suits only for one child or adult. We always have impression that the hotel tries to save every penny: minimum towels, soaps, furniture.

The hotel is just in the very Center of Merida and close to all main sightseeings. Very beautiful lobby and pool area. Very friendly, helpful and prompt staff. Spacious and quiet room.
