Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaLocation was excellent, right across the street from the Malecon and the nightly water light show. Church's and Burger King next door. Breakfast was very good. Help yourself to as much fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, scrambled eggs, frijoles , etc. Room was decent size and good shower and bed. Staff provided me with ice for the room when i asked with no charge.

It is ok for a transit in Campeche. You have to go in the old town by car or taxi.

Czech RepublicThe equipment was a bit old and the swimming pool was like hot whirlpool, which we don't take as a mistake, because it was 42'C, but we would appreciate if it could be more refreshing.
Nice and clean hotel in front of the ocean. Nice staff. The room was clean and the air-condition worked as it should. The center of the city was appx. 20 min. by walk.

United StatesUnfortunately, the gym had some equipment that wasn’t working and feels ignored compared to the rest of the property in terms of cleanliness. The breakfast room can get very crowded.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and functional. There are tennis courts. You can walk to the Malecón for sunsets in 3 minutes.

BelgiumBreakfast could really be bettered and the hotel could use global refreshment
Basic but functional and clean. Hot water in shower. Swimming pool area looked great (but we didn't test it). The hotel is not located in the centre-centre but along the "malecón" which is a nice walk.

United StatesThe sauna was the type you sit your body into, not a room. I would have stayed close to the central zone had I known- it matters because it's very hot to walk into town even though it's only about 1.2 km. There is no beach, not that I expected one, but the road along the water is super busy, so the long walk way is loud and not shaded during the day, either.... this is the city's problem, not the hotel's. The tourist helper was new and made a mistake about a tour I signed up for, which I got my money back- but as a single person, the current trend seems to be: you better have two people going somewhere, or you're going to have to pay for two people...again, not hotel's fault, but the only thing they had to offer me was a bike for rent. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of organized trips for single tourists here. Find out about Colectivos for getting to Edzna, totally doable, but their tourist office tried to tell me it was not easy to use that service, when it was totally easy-45 pesos one way!!! ( I saved 1,900 pesos going on my own!!) Nice hotel, but next time I'd stay closer to if not in the main zone.
The attendents at breakfast are two separate pairs, one pair was super friendly and quick, the other was there getting the job done. They serve the warm portions of the meal to you and the rest is self serve with plastic wrap on top of fresh fruit. Every morning there were different variations of scramble eggs. I liked how they would scrabble up eggs without meat for me. Every table is equipped with hand sanitizer. The pool is clean and makes for a nice cool place to relax, however they might want to consider creating shade for the lounge chairs, because between 2-5 the sun blazes down on them... the part of the day when one wants to lounge around a pool. I'm not really a spa type person, but enjoyed the massage I got there. Highly sad about the sauna... the only reason I picked this hotel over another one.

United StatesOur room had basically one setting on the air. Cold. I tried to set it & even had someone come up to help. But, again, it was either cold or stuff if you turned it off. Our safe got stuck on lock & they had to replace it with another. No biggy. Nice hotel. We did do laundry service while there. A little high, but what do you expect at a nice hotel ??
Breakfast every morning was a good selection. Pool was nice, I did swim one day & spend time outside. About a 20 min walk to centro historical. Walking or taxi is how to get around if no car. Location was close to a Walmart & some restaurants & a mall within walking distance. Pretty satisfied all in all. I was there in January & the heat outside would become unbearable. Early mornings or evenings were best. Nearby there is a light show that is near the Malacon. central has lots of restaurants and easy walk around town. there is a bus in historical centro that you can ride around town on.
