Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe drinks were obviously watered down to the point that I suspect the alcohol was as well. Several times I asked for a "double" and the bartender more or less refused. The food wasn't bad but for the price it should be better.
Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Good service.

CanadaUnless you get up very early you can’t get a pool or beach chair. People save them all day and it’s not patrolled by staff. One staff member tried hard to book us into a one hour sales pitch for their travel club just minutes after arriving. Turned us off a bit. At least wait a few days to see if we even like the resort.
Beach was excellent. Loved the protected ocean swim area. Buffet and Mexican restaurant were wonderful. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Good pickle ball courts. A bit far from any activities that left from PV or NV but my husband wanted to surf so it was ideal.

United States of AmericaAC in the rooms is virtually absent Alcohol drinks are a joke - only local super-sweet ingredients are used so you dont feel the taste, only colored sugar Facilities are in poor state: public toilet doors wont close; some bulbs are missing; nails are sticking from what used to be wood railings; smell of sewer in many places. Beach organization sucks - it's already small and 1/3 of it occupied with a shop (!) and massage beds that noone uses. As a result, beach beds are confined to a very small area and are in short supply
The property is of mid size, it is well planned and provides shade and interesting landscape solutions (a mirador, a church, a zoo etc). But facilities are dilapidated and not maintained well. The staff is very good, especially bartenders - unlike other hotels, they are professional and not arrogant The water sports team is efficient and amicable. Food in the buffet is good and of decent variety; a-la carta restaurants are very poor, just avoid them The beach is swimmable; unlike the other locations nearby what are only rocks

MexicoWe were hoping to be welcomed with kindness all around and the attitude of some of the staff weren’t great. We had to drink cappuccinos because black coffee was bad, every time. Need more plates in buffet restaurants and maybe extend hours for pool/ocean towels.
Great location, good food, good drinks and some of the staff were incredible: Arcadio (most of all), Miguel, Francisco, Rosa (in the restaurant); Osmar with the bags and Uriel (wonderful drinks) thank you all for your amazing help and attitude! You made our stay a very nice one.

MexicoHalf way our stay we switched from the general area to the family selection area, which is a huge improvement in room quality, comfort & personal service. I highly recommend paying that little bit extra, because it's definitely worth it.

Mexico•The seashore was full of plants inside the water and was really uncomfortable to swim with that •The snackbars for the pools and sea didn't have much variety •There wasn't any elevator to move between the floors
•The food is pretty decent, however for a Mexican who knows the ingredients the Mexican Restaurnant could improve but pretty good overall • The adults only pool was truly for adults, and the staff made sure that the rules were applied for everyone, really happy with this. •The room was spacious and comfy

United States of AmericaThe al a carte restaurants were not too great. The portions were very small, and food was not too tasty. There are no elevators, just ramps and stairs. Which I wouldn't normally mind, but being 6 months pregnant with a toddler made it a bit challenging to walk around the property.
Clean facilities, friendly staff, had a small surprise zoo inside which was neat for kids/families to see the animals. The buffet had a variety of options and the food was good. The small lagoon on the beach was great for small kids. Too bad we did not discover it until our last day. The spa was nice for a relaxing massage. And the kids club had organized activities for the kids. The shows each night were entertaining.

United States of AmericaAll Inclusive is nice but can be a real negative. The food is marginal and caters to mass servings. It seems they are trying to feed a lot of people and therefore they cannot make excellent food. They are also doing their best to make the alcohol go as far as they can so drinks are pretty weak and super sweet. We were approached many times with a fairly aggressive request for us to join their vacation club/time share. This was not something we wanted. Also, the property is huge. So, be prepared to walk a lot.
The resort has some amazing views and wonderful pools. The room was very nice and the staff was exceptional and very attentive to our requests.

United KingdomThe a la carte food was so so, plus you always needed to make a reservation the morning before. so on our first day we couldn’t eat anywhere but at the buffet not a great first day experience The rooms need to be renovated, I get it they want you to get the authenticity (maybe?) but it didnt give you the feel of a 5 start resort…
The buffet food was surprisingly good, many food choices. The adult swimming pool was very nice! The drinks were good too.

United States of AmericaFront desk staff is not very friendly. Food is marginal at best in the buffet and the bamboo restaurant is terrible, Italian restaurant is ok with friendly staff. Not very accomodating for late check-in due to flight cancelation. The facilities seem a bit run down, especially the roofing. The pictures for the panoramic deluxe rooms are a bit deceptive.
Beautiful location and away from the crowds. Nice, friendly staff in the bars, restaurants, and maids. Amazing beach and views. And great hamburges at the beachfront snackbar. Mexican restaurant was fantastic

MexicoBuildings maintenance and food and drinks quality. Old chairs at the beach.
The location is beautiful, but the resort facilities are old and would benefit from better maintenance, for example chairs at the beach (some of them were broken and very uncomfortable). Paint needed all over the buildings. Food is "all-inclusive food", which means food for the masses even at the the specialty restaurants. Their app to make reservations for the restaurants did not work, therefore a long queue at the guest services desk and even they could not help much because there were no more seatings available. Staff is very friendly.

Mexicowe tried italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants. Asian and Mexican were very good. italian restaurant was terrible. it seemed like they use the leftover food from the buffet restaurant because the food was so bland
the hotel construction is very nice everywhere is green, pools are nice. the rooms are clean and spacious. the food is good in general. I recommend everyone to try the Mexican restaurant la adelita. I ve been living in Mexico since 5 years so I have tried all kinds of food and I can say that the food was very well prepared and delicious.
