I had the lowest level room, so can't judge the higher rooms. Our TV sound didn't work most of the time, theydid fix it eventually. Room was dated and a bit boring style wise. But was worth the money just for view and location. Stairs VERY slick with wet feet. Make sure you wear Sandals. I fell down a flight of stairs and was pretty bruised for the week. Thank God nothing broke.but over all I would go back.

Absolutely perfect location if you want to walk most places. Can't beat the ocean view. Price was good. Nice little pool.

We hoped we were on an upper floor to Avoid encounters with critters and the lock for the door didn’t seem very secure but other than this we enjoyed our stay.

Shower head could be replaced with something that delivers a bit more power instead of the tiny sprinkles that come out. Fridge froze our water the whole time despite telling the front desk the first day we were there. We had it set on the lowest setting and it still froze the water. The lady at the front desk said the fridge "had to get used to being plugged in". Never heard that before. Asked for twin beds as we are two friends travelling and we never got them. Asked if they had another room available with twin beds and they only did for 3 days. We would have had to switch back to room with no twin beds after that. Internet was mostly non-existent when we were in the room. Had to go outside the room to get any constant internet service. Some of lounges by pool were broken so could only lay flat in them.

Location is great as near downtown but no noise. The hair dryer starting smoking the first time we used it. It was quickly replaced by another though that one had a shorter cord and so couldn't hang on the wall and plug in. Now provide water cooler near lobby.

The air conditioning was very noisy, but it worked fine. The room was a bit underground, so not as bright as I would have liked.

The view was incredible - right on the sea and a perfect location to watch the sunrise. The location of the hotel could not be better - right by the center of town and the supermarket.

There was hot water to take a shower only 1 day out of the 3 we stayed. We had our Gatorade spill in the mini fridge because my son didn't close it correctly and it didn't fit standing up and they only cleaned the little bit that spilled on the floor but didn't clean the refrigerator 🙄. I was there with my 11 yr old and my 8 yr old and they charged me for my 8 yr old because they said I only payed for double occupancy, most hotels let kids under 10 stay for free so I thought that was pretty lame.

The location is great, it's close to everything but far enough to be quiet at night, it's easy to find and just 3 short blocks from the ferry station. If the price were cheaper I would stay here again.

 I was only assumption I would have a hammock which I did not also the bed was a little too stiff.  maybe this is a Mexican thing but there's no housekeeping during your stay. Maybe you have to specifically ask for it which I didn't mind since  there were extra clean sheets and towels in the room

The only beach was PUNTA NORTE.......everything else around the island is ROCKY and dangerous.

The hotel itself is only 2 short blocks - 200 meters - from the ferry terminal. The room was a 1 bed (king) with 2 nightstands,1 chair, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and a small TV with cable ; there was a balcony which had a beautiful "ocean" view, and 2 chairs and a Hammock. The bathroom was a glass cage with curtains - had hot water and a hair dryer. It served its purpose. Nothing fancy. The pool was nice and the room service lady was very nice and friendly. The only usable beach was "PUNTA NORTE" and it was only 6 blocks away ( walking thru the market area to get there). Use the TAXIs, the golf carts looked a little expensive. Hotel and room was very clean.

There was some confusion on check in and we didn’t get the room we booked, but we managed to get it straightened out and switched rooms after 2 nights in a room we were not happy with. After the switch we couldn’t have been happier- updated room, one large bed, incredible view and semi private balcony on the top floor! Note that the mattresses are pretty firm. Also there was not much shade by the pool til later afternoon and it was too windy to use the umbrellas, which meant we were sometimes limited in using this space at the peak of heat.

Great location close to everything on foot and just at the edge of the hustle and bustle, with a sea wall and ocean right next door. The steady sound of the ocean was soothing. Felt safe walking day and night to the great restaurants closeby, and an easy walk to the ferry terminal. Loved the pool and the hammock on the balcony!
