Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently – there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI’ve definitely been to resorts with better food. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing.
The pools and beach were beautiful, the rooms were spacious, everything was clean, and the staff was incredibly nice. Stayed here for a wedding and it was amazing.

United States of AmericaDoing some routine maintenance and upkeep but that should make it even better in the future! Nightly entertainment was good, but not great.
Food, drinks, and service was excellent. Good variety of restaurants for this medium-sized resort. Not crowded and easy to get reservations. Beach was groomed and water was perfect!

United States of AmericaLack of communications or keeping the promise
All was okay with the meals, drinks, and the staff were good , the only problem I had was with Booking .com because they did a very bad job, I was waiting for the Taxi I paid in advance waited 2 hours and then they did not keep the promise what they said and texted me about the ride with the name of the driver and the car he will be coming and on the return they did not even acknowledge that I had a reservation for the transfer back to the airport so getting no where I paid $40.00 to get my transfer back, so will never book with this Booking .com and even tell all my friends to stay away from them

United States of AmericaWe didn’t like how the pool didn’t have a food menu, only pizza. There was tortillas served around the pool one of the days maybe more but we only got them one time. But there wasn’t salads, sandwiches, burgers, nachos and salsa on the menu like at all the other resorts where we have been. The entertainment sounded like fun but karaoke didn’t start until 9:30pm. For us that was too late. We like entertainment to begin, at least, by 8pm. The Casino night seemed like it would be fun because I live Texas Holdem and was hoping to play. My husband and I went down at 9pm and the music was way too loud. We couldn’t even go into the room. The music had to be as loud as 160 db or even louder. It made our heads hurt. I was bummed but we went on to Zango and got a snack before heading on to our room. I also noticed a the restaurants, if a Hispanic was there even after we were, they got served first. My husband and I were not mad at this but quite entertained by it. We still got great service but as an American, we knew our place at this resort and we excepted it. The heat in August is unbearable and we will stick to Mexico in February from now on. The maids come around knocking around 8:30. The noise in the hallway was loud and could be heard in our room. So don’t plan on staying up late and sleeping in while here.
We liked that it was on the beach and the partial ocean view from our window was nice. The infinity pool was nice with fun activities like water aerobics and volleyball. Geisel was the pool activity girl and she was so welcoming and fun. I have never seen so many women and men join in on the water aerobics before like this at other resorts where I have been. The restaurant servers were so helpful and friendly. There were so many but we remember Elizebeth, Gerardo and Jesus who were our servers at Zango for the morning breakfast. They would make sure we had everything we needed and always had a smile and made us feel welcomed. The Seasons restaurant was good with great service and food. We went here 2 of the nights during our visit. I wish I could remember the servers names, they were older gentlemen. Frattini’s Italian restaurant was good. Our server, Roberto, was welcoming and helpful. The food was also good. The ocean view from both restaurants were very nice. We ate at Zango the first 2 nights because we could net get reservations at any of the restaurants. Zango was a buffet with much to choose from whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had room service one day for lunch. We ordered the grilled burger. It was delicious and served on time. Anything you need must be entered on the app from your phone instead of calling. That way the management sees the order and can make sure it’s taken care of and not over looked. Daniella was expedient and friendly checking us out. One night of our stay we needed water and the front desk staff (I believe his name was Enrique or Iglesias). He was so helpful getting bottled water to our room. Great staff and beautiful property.

United States of AmericaThe room really needs to be updated, stained curtains, old furniture. I think I would’ve had a better room if I booked directly with Sandos. Zango (buffet) very limited selection. People wake up at 6:30am to put belongings on day beds and chairs at the pool and beach there has to be a better way.
The staff was the best part great conversations, and willing to accommodate special request. Having three pools was great and beach access.

United States of AmericaHospitality could be better and concierge could be kinder and helpful. Food was decent, it was hard to get reservations for dinner and it takes a long time to get drinks to the table at buffet. It would be helpful if they just did self serve since it’s a buffet. That was a bit frustrating since it happened the whole stay, if you needed a refill forget about it. They were definitely short staffed but aside from that waiters were very kind. Also, getting a pool chair or cabana was a nightmare. No where to sit and no organization.
Loved the access to the beach and the reserved beach chairs and beds just for Sandos guests. The pools overlook the beach which gives it a beautiful view. Also, my family and I loved the key bracelets. Made it so accessible and easy to get into the room without having to dig for it. Loved the AC in rooms, felt so good as soon as we walked in.

United States of AmericaI don't like the fact that I'm back in the states and trying to get ahold of someone at the hotel. I've called every day at least 5 times a day with no answer. Someone either doesn't pick up or pick up and hang up. I lost my sun glasses and all I want to know is if someone turned them into lost and found. It is really frustrating trying to get someone to answer
The breakfast was doable. We loved Tetesita and Daniel for our massages. Overall I was pleasantly happy

United States of AmericaWish there was more entertainment in the resort. The drinks were better in some areas than others. Room service food was not the best.
We loved the pool areas, very clean and staff so attentive. We enjoyed the buffet so much as it had a large variety accommodating all our preferences. Location is very accessible and nearby to many things.

United KingdomOn check in I was being pressured to upgrade my room. When I didn’t, the guy at check in seemed mad and told us nothing about the facilities, where to eat or anything. We asked other staff, who were lovely. I booked a deluxe King room but think I didn’t receive this. Then when my sister and husband checked in the same thing happened to them. The check in person even took them upstairs to view the rooms. They also refused then were given the upgraded room which means that was probably the room assigned to them in the first place. We had all stayed at Hyatt Ziva before checking in at Sandos and had not experienced this. The food was good but only available in one area most of the day. There weren’t a coffee bar or place for just snacks to hang out.
The property is good. the building is older so tired in places but it wax hood enough. The pool area is great and the bar.
