best price value hotel in Cozumel perfect located 2star hotel (renowated 2015) 2 min walk from ferry and plaza mayor in pedestrian zone nearby to restaurants, shops, dive centers,... . Rooms are spacey and comfortable even a little bit dark. However who spends his days in room at caribbean seaside? AC and Cleanness in whole hotel are excellent. Breakfast is served at 4star sister hotel casa mexicana and even 4star plus standard. Absolut recommend this little gem hotel in Cozumel. :)

Great little hotel for the price, clean, friendly, helpful. Breakfast is a short walk away to their sister hotel and it was very nice. It is very close to the ferry and right in the centre of town. Would definitely go back!

No fridge but no big deal.

Perfect location being a block from the water and just down the road from he town square. Extremely large and clean rooms and bathrooms and there is a really large safe in the closet. They don’t have a restaurant or pool on site but their sister hotel is Casa Mexicana which is only a couple of blocks away has both and you get your free breakfast there and are allowed to use their pool. The value for the money is off the charts!!!

Rooms are dark and oddly furnished ours had a refrigerator and a bed and a large empty space. Our friends had no refrigerator but had a table and chairs. Room at the far end heard some noise from the entrance gate late in the evening.

Great location close to everything but away from the bustle of the cruise ships. Felt safe. Great breakfast at sister hotel a few blocks away.

After 3 weeks the lack of an outdoor space to lounge became constrictive. Also, for longer stays a small refrigeratorb for water etc., in the room, would have helped immensly, however upon requesting one we were told they were not available and that the rooms were not set up for refrigerators. We made do with a small styrofoam cooler purchase at one of the local OXXO stores.

Location, cleanliness and exceptional staff were all fantastic. Walking distance to all El Cento activities and vendors. Plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops, bars and sites within a 5- 10 mintute walk. The included breakfast at the El Mexicana was a definate Plus from a cost & convenience standpoint. Very nice staff and quality buffet. Exceptional staff.

No microwave in room. It had a kitchenette, with a small electric stove, but no microwave. The stove was useless to warm up leftovers or make a quick cup of coffee, etc. A microwave would be much more useful!

No microwave in room, small electric stove, which is essentially useless to warm up things. Although it had a refrigerator and sink, dishes, silverware, pots & pans.

Large "suite" rooms and location. Staff was very kind & helpful. Room was always very clean. A/C was really good and lots of pillows on the beds, which were very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Be careful when you choose your room type, because the "non suite" rooms are REALLY basic - no fridge or coffee-making facilities. Every morning when I left my room the floor of the corridor was covered with dead and dying bees.. I really hope the hotel is not spraying them? We NEED BEES!!

Breakfast (at Mexicana) was good (even though it meant a short walk to get to it). Supervisor (also at Mexicana) made a plan for me as regards a fridge and coffee-making facilities.

The Hotel can easily be found by a 2 minute walk from the ferry port. The accommodation itself is more like a flat with your own little kitchen (incl. fridge) a living room with a sofa and a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast buffet is served at a nearby hotel and is outstanding, definitely the best we had during our time in Mexico.

My credit card was scammed right after booking this hotel. That card is used only for booking. The hotel staff said it never happened before, but i believe there is still possibility that their staff get my card info and use that to purchase online. The credit card company had long oversea phone calls with me, it's expensive. Booking.com and Visa should take the responsibility to improve security on credit card, they should not give credit card info to every hotel you booked, it is not safe.

Really its hard to think about something I didn't like about this place but this is just a suggestion, and it could be to keep more coffee in the lobby for the guess this-it!

Ho,--- the breakfast at the sister hotel casa Mexicana was one of the best I had in my visit to Cozumel, the rooms were big, comfortable, clean, with nice big towels, really beautiful table with 2 chairs to sit-down and if you request a coffee machine they will provide it quickly, we had some Issues with the safe and they come fast to the room to fix it without any problem! The beds were huge and comfy, the cleaning lady was really nice and every-day she provide soap, shampoo and everything we need!

The breakfast is a bit far away, about 10 minutes walking from the hotel. If it rains, it can be quite slippery at the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel is located very close to the ferry and to the centre and restaurants. Free breakfast and the swimming pool are included at the sister hotel, which is great and very convenient. The rooms are spacious, the airco is great and we had a wonderful stay!

Brand new air conditioners are very cooooool. This place was always a favorite and now have even improved that. Breakfast is a 7 minute walk to sister hotel but well worth it. Freshly made omelets, pancakes are wicked good, and they change from day to day. Love this place. You can also use the pool at sister hotel that is on the water, beautiful.

There were no ventilators in the bathroom, just a small window. On the humid / rainy days we stayed, the small window didn't help with ventilation in the bathroom. Our hotel had minimal facilities, needed to walk to the other one (which was not next door - 8min walk) It was raining for the 2 nights we stayed, the tiled entrance was very slippery and potentially hazardous...

The room was huge with 2 double beds, very clean and comfortable with good hot showers. Nice nostalgic décor. Good location - 5mins walk to the pier and plaza with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was served in the separate hotel that was 8-min walk from Colonial Suite. Good range with fresh omelets and waffles cooked-to-order. We were given wristbands to use the facilities in the other hotel (pool / restaurants with discount)

Nothing was bad. The only thing I could point out is that this room is a traditional style room with wooden shutters that have small colored glass windows on them. This means that you either have the wooden shutters open (with no screen) to the walkway, or you have them closed and make your room a bit dark. Cozumel has enough sun though, so this is not a huge problem.

The location was great. The floors and whole hotel were very clean. The breakfast was a short walk (I actually enjoyed the walk to breakfast) and it was a great breakfast with friendly staff!

Inconsistency in price quoted on web site and price on arrival.

The hotel colonial was undergoing restoration and update. Consequently noisy all day. I was offered a large room in another branch, bahia. Well located and excellent buffet breakfast at yet another hotel in the chain! my booking .com confirmation gave the price at $34.02. My credit card has been charged at $40.49. Despite mentioning this at the time i have still had to pay the upper rate for 7 days. staff were friendly and overall good value.

Room not ready when we arrived at 4 pm on very hot day. No wi fi in room on 1st floor.

The breakfast included....best value for our whole trip in Mexico.... but did need to walk about 4 blocks to sister hotel. Lady at front desk very friendly and helpful.

The suite had a seperate bedroom and bathroom and had the air conditoner in it which was very loud while trying to watch t.v. or sleep. Also, could not find any outlets in bedroom near bed. We did not receive face cloths with the towels. I felt a bit claustrophobic because of the frosted glass on the windows which made it feel really closed in. Did not have hairdryers or alarm clocks.

The bed was comfy and room was clean. The breakfast buffet at the sister hotel was fabulous. Lots of things to choose from (cereals, fruits, eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausages, breads, waffles, pancakes, and more. The room had a kitchenette with dishes and a full fridge and stove top so you can cook your own meals(we didn't need to but if staying longer would be nice)

The ac units are a bit noisy, but it really didn't bother us. Beds are comfy, we slept well.

This place is so clean. The staff is very friendly, the maids are very friendly. My wife and I loved our stay here. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk to sister hotel but well worth it. Best pancakes I've ever had. Great buffet.
