Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaJust a couple of minor things. The shower door. We had to open it from the bottom. The pool water always looked a little cloudy.
The location was great, within walking distance to everything including great restaurants. The apartment was big. The kitchen was very well equipped. Microwave, two burners, coffee maker, toaster oven and blender. Knives and forks, pots and pans, dishwashing liquid and sponge. The bed was very comfortable. Quiet. Washing machine and dryer on the premises which was free! Great helpful staff. Ray and Javier were very good. Housekeeping staff were very nice and the apartment was very clean. There was no AC but good ceiling fans and there was also a big portable fan. Rooms may be a little hot in the middle of summer but we were ok. There is a small swimming pool.

United KingdomThe water pressure in the bathroom is quite low. Probably a feature of Mexican plumbing rather than this hotel specifically!
This hotel is a gem. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We ended up staying an extra two nights. The room was large and comfortable with a good ceiling fan. It's in a quiet part of town but still very close to fantastic cafés and restaurants with rooftop dining. The main (busy) part of the old town is an easy 20 min walk - we were very glad we weren't staying in that area. There's a lovely little pool as well. For this price point, you can't do better!

United States of AmericaWonderful hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. It is wonderful to have a kitchen, a separate living room and a bedroom with a door. It felt like a small apartment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Very close to many touristy things, but on a quieter street with easy access if using a car or taxi.

MexicoThe bathroom can use a little touch-up.
This place is a hidden gem in Oaxaca! The location is perfect, right at the beginning of the touristic street, so you're not in the super busy center but just a couple of blocks away from it. There's an organic market next door as well as a bunch of cafes and restaurants. The "rooms" are actually 1-br apartments, super spacious and well planned. Very comfortable, big kitchen and dining table, nice living room and super big bedroom. We felt right at home. It's not high-end but really has a homey feeling and great value for the price. Keep in mind there's no A/C but it always felt really cool inside with the ceiling fan on so we didn't feel a need for a/c. There's also a wonderful pool which was a refreshing bonus given the heat outside. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Oaxaca and highly recommend it.

United States of AmericaA few nights there was a gasoline smell coming from outside that was strong enough that we slept with the windows closed even thought it was quite hot. It wasn't present the whole time and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
The staff here was fantastic, always helpful and accommodating and kind. We liked having the extra space of the living room to spread out and be able to exercise in the room. We also really enjoyed having the pool to relax by, and the upkeep around the place was impeccable.

MexicoLast year, we had a ground-floor studio which was dark and not very cozy. This year, we had a similar studio on the top floor, which was much prettier. I'd like to know how to reserve either one, apparently, they are just assigned at random.
The hotel offers spacious studios with a small kitchen at a reasonable price, given the touristic importance of Oaxaca. It is just a five minutes walk from Sto. Domingo and close to all other attractions of Oaxaca city. It is easy to reach by car and has on-site parking, which uses to be a mayor problem in many other hotels of the city centre.

PhilippinesI would have appreciated a couple of cooking essentials in the kitchen--items that are difficult for short time visitors to purchase (such as cooking oil and salt). The pool felt a little exposed to the parking lot.
Big spacious apartment in an amazing location! The location was absolutely perfect.

United States of AmericaIt would be nice to have softer and warmer lighting. The bulbs used are cold and bright Led lights. The lamps need attention as the shades don't fit properly and they had plastic dust covers over them. The ceiling fan/overhead light shakes while it spins and is not installed firmly to the ceiling. The drapes in my friends' room were coming off the rod and needed to be fixed.
Location was great and the staff very helpful. Spacious room with plenty of storage. Nice, modern bathroom. The hotel was quiet while we were there.

United States of AmericaBathroom walls need to be repainted. & Ceiling fan was a bit loud if on the fastest speed. Overall, nothing major to dislike.
Location was great. In a quarter area but close to the main action. Right next door to an authentic market with food stalls, produce stalls & live music. The hotel felt safe, they lock the gate into the courtyard at night. The suite is huge with new Ikea-type closet system.
