The staff at the restaurant wasn't always friendly or helpful- some kind of chain of command in place? No service between 12:00 & 1pm? (lunch time for me) Naomi at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful.

loved the grand lobby and large open spaces to sit and relax or meet new people - lots of atmosphere, the Mexican cultural feel of Amapas Calle with the old small tile roofed houses going up the hill below the condos ; roosters crowing in the morning; small delivery trucks to the deli -blasting old fashioned Mexican music. Good mix in guests .

Our room didn't have a mini-fridge and guests were required to pay a bracelet fee to visit for a few hours.

Parking was down a scary alley that did not feel safe. If we hadn’t had a car the stay would have been wonderful.

I got a regular/cheap room but I didn’t like the restroom at all. In the online photos it had sliding shower doors, and in person, it was the installation for the door, but it only had a dirty curtain. Also, Hospitality. I called the receptionist to let them know that I was thirsty, I asked if they can provide us another 2 little water bottles and they answered that we needed to but them at the restaurant (which I didn’t mind at all) so my call got transferred to the restaurant and they said that they couldn’t provide the water bottles, that the only person that could help me was the cleaning lady. It was bad and no one help us I ending going to the store at 9:00 pm

The maintenance was sloppy. Splattered paint in many places. Caulk poorly applied in bathroom. They were cleaning outdoor patio furniture in main public areas and we had nowhere to sit. Wi-FI in rooms was unsuable.

Access by car is terrible for such a large hotel. Very small unloading area off a very narrow street.Drop off area is 1 level above check in area so you need too unload your luggage and get it down to the check in level. If I wanted ice I had to pay $5 pesos for a small glass. Beach acess was only open from 8a.m. till 8 p.m. than was locked. Should be able to use your room card to enter otherwise you had to walk all the way around the hotel to the main entrance..

Rooms are outdated but for the price would stay again no problem. Also if you’re not out in the morning saving a chair by the pool you can forget about getting a spot all afternoon. By like 10am everything has towels on it and people do t use them for hours. Terrible.

Check in was slow. Staff grab your bags and expect a tip. They won't let you take the fob and proceed to your room on your own.

The property is old and they are doing maintenance. The room ac leaked in addition to the toilet leaking on the floor and the shower leaking on the floor.
