view is excellent of the bay of Caririzalillo, surfing, the ocean, strong A/C and a comfortable bed. The connected restaurant has good quality food and an excellent view,breeze and friendly, attentive staff (Marda, others) which, makes a experience wonderful.

For the price you pay, they could offer you umbrellas and chairs for free to take to the beach. The lady receptionist had a negative attitude from the beginning, she didn’t give us any recommendations about restaurants nearby; when we asked for the wifi password, she mentioned it didn’t work and in case we needed it, we should have booked a different hotel.

The villas are very comfortable. Having direct access to the beach was definitely a plus. The beach itself is spectacular!

not much. little off the beaten path for an out of towner. but 2 minutes of patience and you’re there

it was a beautiful location start to finish. Places to lounge in the e sun and shade. private entrance to the beach. or pool. or just a shaded lounge chair. the restaurant Espadin is right there for breakfast lunch or dinner and some of the best food and service in town. our king bed was comfortable. we loved our entire stay! thank you!

Highly recommend, especially a room with a view of the beach. The view is outstanding. We absolutely loved our stay here, huge room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Amazing little walk down private stairs to the beach. We visited all the beaches in PE and this one was our favourite for swimming. Great restaurant onsite for all meals, we ate here mostly. The fruit smoothies are especially good. Incredibly memorable stay.

wifi was nonfunctional the whole time and I got terrible food poisoning from Espadín, the restaurant upstairs. neither were their fault!

Wonderful restaurant overlooking the bay. The property was nicely landscaped with a variety of places to sit and enjoy the view. Our room was very nice. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Aramando (at front desk) wasn't very empathetic when I mentioned that we had no water in our bathroom. He said it would be 5 min., which in Mexico can be anywhere to a couple hours. In this case it did take 4hrs to fix. Angie (at front desk) was just the opposite, so very helpful with everything we asked of her.

They didn't offer any breakfast, but when we had dinner there (at Espadin), our drinks were taken care of. The location and view was fabulous. We loved our Villa Terraza, which offered a lot of privacy and a million dollar view of the beach below and their awesome sunsets. Playa Carazilillo below, was also the best swimming beach in the area, well-protected without the strong currents as some of the other beaches. I liked having the kitchenette to make breakfast, after loading up at the grocery store in town. It was also 10-15 min walking to restaurant row in town, with our favorite restaurants being Cafecito and El Nene.

You have to walk through vacant lots to get to the street with other restaurants and shops.

The property is beautifully landscaped, with lovely seating areas scattered around. We had a nice covered terrace with seating adjacent to our villa. It was stocked with purified water, kitchen supplies and towels for the beach. The views are gorgeous around the property and from the restaurant. We were able to get a sunset dinner reservation at the restaurant since we were guests. Good food. Very lovely place with good front desk.

The location, on a cliff overlooking the bay and the Pacific was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained adding to the atmosphere of relaxation. Our villa was lovely. The restaurant Espadín was great for breakfast and dinner too. The complex is close to the Rinconada where you'll find more restaurants to choose from.

Beach, while beautiful, was public access and had a couple sketchy characters. Extra charge for using beach umbrellas and chairs - probably typical, but I would have preferred it be built in to the hotel charge.

Wonderful welcoming staff. Lovely restaurant with spectacular view. Room was spacious, with a wall of windows facing the beach from the cliffside above. Stairs to the beach just outside our door. Multiple cozy common areas to lounge in addition to our patio.

The location overlooking the playa was stunning. Steps to the beach and swimming in the cove were wonderful. The staff were friendly and responsive. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant overlooked the playa and was mesmerizing. One can also take a short walk to shops and restaurants.

friendly staff. our unit.. Escondido had a superb view. It was great for a couple and had a wet bar with fridge but would not be suitable for cooking meals. Easy walk to restaurants. Lovely spot

The wifi is temperamental and you may find yourself without it often/ so slow that using roaming on your phone is the only option.

The view from the villas facing the ocean is exceptional and it is truly a beautiful beach. I will certainly be returning (hopefully to the same exact room). The on-site restaurant is also great and looks over the ocean (makes for beautiful sunsets).

We had quite a few mosquitoes. not unusual for Puerto Escondido though.

The location is so beautiful and our rooms were very clean and lovely.
