The family running it are absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning to keep cool. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and we really appreciated the free water provided during our stay.

The only downside was being woken early by the neighbours’ roosters, which often wandered close to our room and crowed throughout the day. Even with earplugs it was a bit hard to sleep in. Otherwise, everything else was lovely and the hosts were wonderful.

Close to centre and beach. Very modest rooms but is expected with the price. Room was clean.

I loved how friendly the host was, if we needed anything she was so so helpful! Also, it was a quiet location so close to the beach and main area but far enough away from noise! Yes there are cockerels in the morning but we quite liked that! Would recommend this for travellers on a budget!

I liked everything! It may be an added touch to get a kettle in the room. But it was still nice to have the hot water tap at reception!

A clean room with everything a solo traveller (or pair) could want when coming to pantai cenang. Shu was very welcoming and made sure everything was as it should be. The price was excellent for three nights and it was nice and spacious. A 5/7 minute walk and you're on the beach. Great stuff.

The motel is slightly away from a main road which made it a bit tricky to find with Grab. Not a problem and nothing that should put you off, just worth mentioning.

Hole in patio which big spider lived in, holes in bathroom too, would recommend buying sellotape to block them off

The hotel itself is clean and budget-friendly, with the basic facilities you’d expect at this price.

However, the location may not suit everyone. It’s situated in a quiet area with very few houses nearby, and I didn’t notice any other hotels around. At night, especially if you’re walking alone, the surroundings can feel a bit eerie or isolated. Reception isn’t available 24/7, and even during the day, you’ll need to message via WhatsApp in advance for assistance.

Location 5 min walk to main street. Airco worked well.

Unfriendly personnel, no greetings, most of time no one at reception. Does not feel as a welcoming place for guests. Room was not clean, e.g. wash basin full of hairs. Dirty and stained bed linen. Our expectation was a basic, clean motel for this price, but experience we got was below par. Note: construction work ongoing, which makes the location less convenient to reach by Grab.

lots of bugs, mosquitoes and molth in bathroom due to open window, roosters early in the morning, messy shower (gets wet everywhere), difficult to order taxi there due to closed street, no bedside table, slow wifi and no desk as promised…

Great Motel with spacious, comfy rooms. A couple of minutes walk from the beach and main strip. WiFi was great. The owner and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again.
